The staff are attentive even when not needed, and all you have to do is look up and around for one of them to ask you if you need something. This hotel is brimming with old Thai charm, so if you want to stay in an authentic teak house, this is as close as I have seen. The courtyard with the pool was picture perfect. Pool was very nice and clean, and water was lukewarm, perfect for an evening swim. We rented out some bikes to go to the park which was a 15 min bike ride (bikes are a bit rusty but good enough for one day). Hotel room was very nice and clean, with a terrace and chairs and tables to enjoy outside. Super convenient location, the hotel provides free bicycles, breakfast was fantastic and they have an unlimited supply of cup noodles, coffee, bananas & oranges throughout the day. My wife injured her knee during our stay and the owner of the hotel bought her a cream to apply from the local pharmacy. Such kind gestures are seldom experienced nowadays. Sukhothai was my second stop having left Ayutthaya.
Sukhothai was my second stop having left Ayutthaya. I chose Sukhothai to get the option of exploring its cultural and historical sites. There is so much to see. however, it was hot, very hot and I wasn't able to see everything I wanted. So I guess I'll just have to stop by this wonderfully chilled town again in the future. This is not a party town, this is not what I was looking for, what I found though gave me every reason to want to go back and see more. Highly recommend Poo restaurant which was close to my accommodation. Enjoy your stay, but do be careful of the heat should you take one of the many tours available.Guest review byAlanIreland
