Perhaps not the most ideal place to stay during the low season as it is quite isolated from most open amenities, especially if you do not want to hire a scooter. Not a property issue, though!

hotel manager was incredibly helpful with our complicated transportation requirements when leaving the island. She arranged everything and we are very grateful! Beyond that staff always tried to be helpful and accommodating to ensure out stay was pleasurable.

It was noisy. Lots of families with small babies. Would have appreciated if there had been a more family friendly area of bungalows. No one cleaned our room for 5 days either.

The price we paid was not reasonable and really not worthy the small and out-dated room in the shared bungalow house. We had to take it since the island was booked out, but it felt not fair to pay this much and ruined a bit the vibe this island stands for. We received much more value (whole bungalows with huge terraces and clean and bigger hangout spaces) for the same price on other resorts the days before that we also booked spontaneously.

It was the second time we stayed at Ziggy and we really enjoy its central location on the long beach and the staff is very nice as usual. Bed is comfortable! The new breakfast buffet is very good (I would just suggest to not put fruit and onions in the same department :)

Hot water was a not so hot but no problem.

So cosy and nice place with beatiful garden and beach vibes. Amazing beers, you should try atleast their stout and Phyamas pale ale. ❤️

Mosquitos are full on at sunset but staff supplied spray.

Well set up bungalows, has aircon but also fan and fly screens on windows so can open windows. Security box, hot water, good size balcony, hose at base of steps to wash feet, hammock on balcony. The bed has mattress topper on it so very comfortable. The resort has a lot of trees so all areas well shaded including restaurant which overlooks the beach. Breakfast has good selection and menu is varied. Staff are excellent, will be returning.

Nothing about Ziggy itself, but there sure were some grumpy tourists! Walk right past without a smile or hello. How? At such a relaxed place. Anyway enough of my rant! I loved it.

Restaurant not being open during the daytime. Plastic & lots of general rubbish on the beach which, unfortunately, is typical of Thailand in general.

Very close to the beach, could see a glimpse of the waves from my window and could hear the surf at night which was really peaceful. Very friendly staff. Comfortable mattress. Actual bungalow with no common walls was really nice too. I really loved Koh Phayam in the off-season too. There are adequate restaurant options that were not too expensive about 2+ km away. Ziggys did serve breakfast though which was really good.

Always need more pillows . Shower pressure was just about ok . A kettle and tea and coffee in the room would have been great.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely porch area to sit. Breakfast was incredible and very tasty. Fruit platter, doughnut, coffee, and a choice of sandwiches, which were fabulous, wraps, yoghurt bowls, and Asian food. Right next to the beach. Staff were lovely and helpful. We were there during the low season and the only guests .

Bathroom layout (have to walk through shower area to get to toilet which means feet get wet a lot). Limited storage area. A clothes line on the porch would be a nice option, coffee machine was removed from common area during my stay (was a nice perk to help yourself), staff and restaurant nice but not particularly warm and/or charming so I mostly went elsewhere for lunch/ dinner…also, it was extremely hot in May and no fans available. Menu and beer prices a bit higher than they needed to be. This area is very quiet and peaceful area. I found the lights around the restaurant at night were a bit too bright and gaudy compared to the other places along this beach.

Pier pickup available, great location, clean, quiet, comfy bed, good aircon, hot shower, nice patio, restaurant with great views and breakfast available, scooters for hire.

Ziggy Stardust is a really nice and relaxed small resort right on the beach with nice cabins. But the best thing is the entire team, really lovely and fantastic.

The nighttime lighting, which appeared a bit dim. But I cannot complain as this seems to be an issue across the island.

- A bit hard matresses and pillows (we are Europeans :) ) but this is Thai style we guess. - We stayed in low season, so some more accurate information about the speed boat times in low season, would be recomended. We nearly lost our connection flight in Ranong due to this.

-Very friendly staff. -Great breakfast and large taste dinner portions, the fruit juices are really delicious and large. -Very nice location right on the Long beach. We counted 30 people on the beach at the max, so just Perfect. -Beautiful sunset from the bar and restaurant area. -Quiet but a lot of excotic "jungle" sounds. Birds and so on. - Great sun block products to buy, in the reception area. - Home made brew of a very good quality. Even home brewed pineapple "champagne" and ciders. - Several very interesting people to meet there. Adventureous people. The Ziggy Stardust Resort on Koh Phayam, really made our trip to Thailand! Highly recomendable.

The staff is very kind and helpful. When we informed about the issue with AC, they immediately took action to fix it (successfully). Bungalow was clean. Location is perfect.
