This is a traditional hotel in a great area. The photographs of the rooms are accurate. The hotel is quiet and whilst facilities were basic,it was fully functioning and clean. The breakfast was the best part and the couple who run the place are welcoming hosts. You can also eat breakfast outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

It is a very nice and cosy facility, stylish and clean room and bathroom, beautiful garden, very quiet and neat neighbourhood that is super close to the historical centre. Denise is a very friendly host, taking good care of her guests.

Lovely historic hotel … a little dated/quirky but the history is terrific and we had a lovely dinner. The front courtyard/grassy area was great to relax in after our hike up!

Nice traditional style hotel. Beautiful views while having breakfast. We had the family room which unfortunately only had a view from one bedroom while the other looked onto an inner courtyard. Overall good value for money but make sure you get a room with a view!

Location great, quiet, very well looked after, a hotel with an old charm and an absolutely beautiful garden and vegetable garden. We were impressed with all the plants and herbs grown in the garden. Breakfast provided us with good vegan and gluten-free options upon request, which was appreciated.

The view of the Eiger is glorious and the terrace area is fantastic.
