This tour of the ancient side of Dali begins with a drive to the Erhai Lake to take a boat where your cruise will incorporate a visit to Jinsuo Island and its local market. You will take a trip to Golden Shuttle Island and the nearby fishing community to see a Bai culture and lifestyle animated by the surrounding beauty and scenery.
You will then explore the three dazzling pagodas in Chongsheng Monastery and also enjoy the authentic food in a local restaurant. After lunch, the guide will take you around Dali Ancient City, with its neatly arranged street and marketplace layout.
You will sense the simple elegance of the folk house construction that distinguishes the city in this part of China as you walk along the cobbled streets.
