The location is lovely! We had a huge apartment overseeing the lake which was amazing. We felt like royalty. If you like old furniture but modern facilities, this is the place to go. The terrace is also super nice, especially on a sunny day.

Breakfast not applicable. Location for Oban, Mull, Lochgilphead and Fort william +Glen Coe was just right for driving. Some nice beaches and bays around to sit and watch the coast. Hosts were friendly and welcoming, fresh eggs ,shortbread biscuits and tea / coffee provided on arrival. Hosts were sociable but also allowed us our own privacy. Nice to come back after a day out and relax in comfort.

We stayed a couple of days on a walking holiday. There are a few nice walks in the area, but in general there are not a lot of trails. If you are into walking, check out Fearnoch Forest (access next to Angus' Garden, about a mile up the road), or walk over the ridge and to the beach via Balindore. In the village, there is a very well stocked village grocery shop with the friendliest shopkeeper in the world. Nearest serious walk is Ben Cruachan, but we did not get there. Good public transport to Oban, for a day trip.

Fantastic location, quiet, peaceful. Great views and grounds for dog and kids to play in. Received fabulous welcome hamper of smoked salmon, fresh eggs, bacon, local butter, sourtbread and marmalade. Cottage very comfy and there was wifi (despite what other reviews have said). Cafe on site with super ice cream sundaes. Lots to do in area - walks from the door, superb beaches and forests, easy trips to local islands. Will definitely be back.

The raspberry muffins on arrival were a lovely little treat! Weather and location were phenomenal this weekend, weren't too many midges while sitting out on the bench out front with a glass of wine and beer. Perfect location to relax after a long walk up Ben Cruachan, highly recommend to anyone!
