Set in a Victorian building, the traditional bedrooms each have a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Rooms also feature a private modern bathroom with a hairdryer.

Full English breakfasts are served daily in the bright and airy dining room, with light continental options available. Breakfast also includes fresh coffee and seasonal fruit.

Lovely B&B close to the town centre. I thought the room was a good size as was the bathroom which was well lit and with a spacious shower. Lots of free extras in terms of toiletries, tea/coffee, and bottled water. Inoka is a very kind and welcoming host and she makes a fantastic breakfast too. Plenty of choice including a full English breakfast, all of which is really good quality. Slept very well there and would happily stay again in future!

Location was ideal- 20 mins from station, 8 mins from the centre of the town. You can hear the river outside with a good view if it! Exceptionally friendly and warm service from the guesthouse owner. The room had everything I needed. Very warm and comfortable.

A lovely little B & B - the location walking distance to town. Felt very welcome on arrival. Rooms were lovely. Offered plenty of suggestions and guidance when we took a drive through the Lake District.

Set in Kendal, 0.8 miles to the Market Town. Sundial Stays, all the rooms have a TV, Fridge, if you feel like making your own breakfast you are able to or we can give you a list of recommendations around the area. After you arrive it's self check in service.

The host does not live on site, but they're available throughout your stay.

I was looking for a not expensive stay for a couple of days and Sundial Stays matched, and exceeded, my needs perfectly; communication with the host was excellent all information provided accurate and all instructions clear and easy to follow; There was a lot of nice touches - tea & coffee, own fridge (I did not need to use it but if you stayed longer that it's perfect!), washing liquid, hair dryer - really a much more than I expected and I was nicely surprised. There was a booklet with all important information & recommendations; Car Park was important and it was also provided (make sure you talk to Hannah in advance and book your space as they are limited; but other car park options are also available, so in busy periods you are not stuck and I'm sure Hannah will help you out if you are not familiar with the area!) You can see there was a lot of personal touch and thought put into this and I appreciate it very much. And finally: excellent access to the Internet, which in my case was a must and came with no additional charge! If I am in Kendal again (it's a very nice town) I will definitely book this place again.

Great ambience, close to the train station and the town of Kendall. The room was huge, but toasty warm in winter

A 7-minute walk from Oxenholme Train Station, this bed and breakfast is less than 3 miles from the centre of Kendal, and around 13 miles from Bowness on the banks of Lake Windermere. It is also around 15 minutes’ drive from the Yorkshire Dales, with Hawes around 25 miles away.

The breakfasts were so well organized and delicious. We loved that we could order the night before and everything arrived promptly and to our specifications. The location was brilliant with only a short walk to the train station and the meeting point for the 10 Lakes Mountain Goat Tour.
