A very romantic villa with view of the lake and private garden with a small pool situated in the small village of Dagnente. While the villa was full of couples, there was ample room to find quiet corners in the garden for breakfast or reading and even being together in the pool felt like family. The hosts were very friendly and made breakfast fitted personally to every taste, making eggs and hot drinks, and even lactose free products for my wife. We got great recommendations for restaurants to eat dinner and day trips in the area - we had a great time

Andrea’s place was lovely. The patio was the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese before dinner. The village of Meina is lovely and small, and it’s such a unique place to visit. There are many fun things to do nearby, and we had such a good time exploring the sights on Lago Maggiore. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay at A Casa Dalla Tata. The room and private bath were large , very well appointed, and had a magnificent view. Owner/host/chef Letizia is most friendly, gracious, and informative.. Her breakfasts are extraordinary: several homemade pastries , homemade croissants, many fresh fruits and juices, great yogurts, Parma hams, salamis, eggs, coffee. Meina is very clean and rustic, and the ferry system (6 minute walk from TaTa) is ideal for exploring nearby villages on Lake Maggiore The walk from the parking area is rather long but it is really worth it
