The simplest thing I can say about the Paladino & its staff is that it ties first with another B&B (in Kent, England) as the best B&B we've ever been to. There's nothing wrong with it.

This is an amazing place to stay for total RELAX!! It's a bit off the beaten path above Turin, but I love that. You drive up some beautiful windy roads, and the place is very close to the famous Superga cathedral. You have some amazing views of Turin from up there.. Also, the place is so pretty and historic. You stay in an old farm from the 1700s and there are exposed beams and brickwork. The hosts have thought of literally everything, from putting out coffee, tea and breakfast foods to having just about any toiletry you can think of at your disposal. This is something I LOVE. This is my second time staying here--the first time was a romantic getaway, and this is a great place for that!!

If you look for a tranquil, beautiful location and great surroundings this is the place for you. Enjoy modern comforts in a historic building. Your host is leaning over backwards to fulfil every wish you might have. She even checked the schedule of nearby restaurants and did some shopping for us.

What an incredible hidden gem. We felt like royalty staying here at this beautifully renovated property overlooking the mountains. The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and the views were unmatched. The facilities were very good and access to the rooftop terrace, the front garden and the elegant dining room contributed to the enjoyment of our stay here. Silvia, the host, is very pleasant. She prepared for us a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, coffee and an array of cakes and jams. She was also very responsive and helpful. We would really recommend this place if you are travelling through the area or looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by horses, farm animals and nature.

The owner was polite, and the place is located almost at the top of the hill. We had a nice view and a hike. So we enjoyed it very much!

Truth be told, it's a wonderful place with very pleasant hosts. We were stunned by the size of the appartment. I was there with my family, two adults and two children. Huge room and kitchen, nice bathroom. All the facilities you need are available. Incredible view from the terrace, which probably cost twice as much as the appartment. We spent two nights there, one of the days we visited Turino, the centre of which is 20 minutes away by car. The host gave us lots of good advice on what to visit, where to park and so on, very helpful. I highly recommend this place to stay and the reason is not just the price, which by the way is very reasonable. It's a complex of reasons, good rooms, lovely views and very nice hosts. Very good liqueurs, grappa and marmalade are produced here. All these can be bought at this place at a very good price. I would definitely go back there.

Francesca was an extraordinary host, like having a good friend welcoming you into their home. In addition to having a beautiful setting, with great views, and delicious wine nearby, two extraordinary things happened during our stay. First, we called her at 9pm asking if we could check in later that night (a day early!) because our other hotel had closed their reception at 7pm and refused to let us in. She literally saved us, staying up until 12:30am to let us in after a very long drive. Second, we had a small baby with us and needed to hire a babysitter for one evening. She kept watch over the babysitter and was ready to jump in if anything went wrong -- reassuring us that she was a volunteer for the red cross so was well qualified to help. She even surprised us with an avocado for our daughter Charlotte, after seeing that she enjoyed one we had brought with us. Francesca is simply a wonderful, thoughtful, caring person and this shines through in everything she does.
