We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.

The property is delightful and our suite of bedroom and bathroom were well equipped. The bathroom is luxurious, with lovely toiletries and a stunning bath. Outstanding breakfast on a truly beautiful terrace. So enjoyable! Rachel is very helpful. She recommended a restaurant and a local chateaux wine festival that was a highlight of our holiday. A good location for touring the surrounding wine area and locations such as Michel de Montaigne’s Tower.

Situated in Lamothe-Landerron, 17 km from Marmande and 11km from La Réole, Haras de la Tour B&B boasts views of the garden. Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. Exceptionally charming, great 5-star breakfast, and Liz is the most caring, considerate and professional host that I've met. I guess this corner of paradise must exceed the expectation of most of the guests.
