After staying for one night we couldn’t help ourselves and immediately booked an additional 5 nights whilst the villa was still available. We would have been extremely disappointed to have missed out on an extended stay. I booked the three bedroom villa for my parents, sister and fiancé and myself and my husband. I liked that there was a main house, but each bedroom was its own villa and allowed each couple to have their own private space to escape. property was large and peaceful and gave us a break from the busy island and mainland bustle. Ryan had solid connections with a lot of day trip activities and provided daily suggestions on what to do during our stay. my sister and her fiancé and my husband did the afternoon visit at the Samui Elephant Home which cares for seven retired elephants, five we saw and it was a really peaceful and powerful time spent with them. we were picked up by the home and we’re provided three hours learning and walking around the property before bathing them and sitting down for an early meal. super awesome experience that wasn’t abusive to the gentle giants. additionally the free laundry service was super nice to have since I accidentally packed less close than I needed for this leg of the trip!

Lovely apartment with some facilities for cooking. I booked the room for 3 nights as I had family coming over to visit and ended up extending it for another week because it was so nice. 5-10 minute walk to the beach and some nice restaurants. Very clean, we were provided with extra water and toilet roll each day. WiFi worked well enough to work remotely.

We fulfilled a lifelong dream and spent Christmas and New Year 2023/24 on Koh Samui on the beach. In the end, we were a group of 9 friends and chose "Villa Motsamot". Apart from the fact that Thailand and Koh Samui are a paradise per se, the villa was an absolute dream - and really perfect for our group. The large and at the same time self-contained and completely quiet complex, in the middle of a beautiful garden, was simply a stroke of luck for us. We spread out in the very nice, separate rooms, each with its own bathroom (and what a bathroom!), so everyone could retreat from time to time. Otherwise, our vacation was mostly spent around the large, fantastic pool or on the beautiful terrace and the open living room. Our cook "Dao" conjured up Thai delicacies for us - whether in the morning, at lunchtime or for dinner (can be planned individually and without any complications) - amazing! And "Boom", our great manager, lovingly looked after us every minute, always making sure that we wanted for nothing. She took care of our shopping (especially drinks), planned the day with us (organized massages right by the pool, among other things) and the food and also helped us with our excursions (organized a tuk-tuk for a whole day and an unforgettable, private boat tour with an awesome speedboat). In short: we couldn't have experienced our vacation and our lifelong dream any better than at Villa Motsamot. And can only recommend it to everyone, 10 out of 10 stars, although 11 would also be appropriate. Thanks to the entire team and especially "Tom", the concierge, with whom the entire planning and preparation from Germany worked perfectly.

The house is conveniently located close to the airport with a nice view of the ocean and Big Buddha. We had free transfer to and from the villa so our rental car was comfortably delivered the next day to our residence. The house is spacious, well equipped and perfectly clean. However what really sets this villa apart from the others is the caretaker couple Corn and Ohm. We’ve rented villas on the island many times but thanks to them this one is special. Not only a great, lovingly prepared breakfast every day but also highly motivated help and attention with all our other needs during our stay. Corn and Ohm were definitely the highlight of our stay.
