Our hosts were very hospitable. Check in was quick and easy. Very clean house, we felt welcome. The host even offerred us bikes to go around, even though we didn't use them it was highly appreciated.

I can't say this accommodation was perfect, but I would definitely stay again because the experience was incredible. The buses have been transformed into lodging in a very creative way, and the views through the windows are amazing. The host was very friendly, and the space with the toilets and showers was functional and warm. On my trip around Iceland, I stayed in better accommodations, but Esjan has a unique charm.

The hotel is much more interesting on the inside than it looks from outside! We loved the quirky, original styling. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy and the bed linens and towels were of a high standard. The staff were attentive and the breakfast was very nice. There is free parking very close by.
