The scenery was beautiful. The ranch was several miles off the main road and very peaceful. There was plenty of room to take long walks. The cabin was comfortable and well-furnished. The breakfast was homemade and yummy. The owners were delightful to visit with and very accommodating.

I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the Super8 by Wyndham- Salmon. The facility was freshly painted and updated and very nice. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I stayed here for work and thus was traveling alone. I felt very safe and comfortable at the Super8 by Wyndham- Salmon. I will definitely stay here again if I pass through Salmon, ID. I also highly recommend this hotel (do not let the name of the hotel dissuade you.)

Salmon was just a stop over for us but we found it to be very satisfactory. We had a nice dinner within walking distance and a better than average breakfast on the way out. Everyone was very friendly. We would return for summer fun.

This is a great place to go for river rafting and hiking.
This is a great place to go for river rafting and hiking. Not much is open after 7pm. We enjoyed walking to the local bar next door on the river and listening to live music outside. Very laid back and enjoyable.

Great place, definitely suggest Kookaburra Rafting for white water rafting and fishing! Owners were hands on and staff so professional and in total control of white water techniques to assure our safety and fun! Location for a BBQ steak and potatoes lunch half way through white water trip was such a peaceful area and it was an awesome experience! They even picked us up and returned us to Stagecoach Inn.

Salmon is a river running town, first and formost.
Salmon is a river running town, first and formost. But there are many beautiful areas to see. There was a wonderful quilt shop (bought too much material for a colorful quilt I'm starting )and a cute antique, gift shop (I bought an older copy of Kon Tiki!) There was one good restaurant/bar but go early. It gets very crowded and loud. It's the Junk Yard Bistro.
Initially we did not know what to expect bc the room is in an old hotel. When we entered we were delighted! The area is open, roomy and super clean. The furnishings are eclectic, the kitchen was nice, and the shower and commode are in entirely different rooms. You could easily sleep six. There are several seating choices. We wished we could have stayed more than one night. The coffee shop is right next door on the corner. It was a very cool experience.

Everything was just superb. The location is so unique and beautiful - with surrounding snowy mountains and valley, elks and deer grazing around you, eagles, rock chucks and magpies flying around, and the most lovely hosts (and cooks) you could hope for. WiFi worked well, cabin room (River Run) was very convenient with incredible views from all windows and the front porch.
Breakfast was so-so but typical of hotel fare. I understand the limitations, so we just had coffee and had breakfast elsewhere. The staff was wonderful and helpful, the room clean and quiet. We enjoyed sitting by the river outside and sipping our coffee. All in all, a great place to stay and we have no qualms of returning.
A very cozy and well-equipped room in the heart of Salmon, Idaho. It's in the center of town, which is very quiet in March. It is less than a one-block walk to my favorite bakery, the adjoining coffee place, the thrift store, or the brew-pub for an excellent burger.
We have stayed at this facility many times. Love the location on the river. Rooms are dated- some updated- the one we stayed in was very worn-
We have stayed in the river view rooms in the past which seem to be much better
Location, thoughtfulness of so many details, including bug spray, having a patio overlooking the river, pickle ball court, games, puzzles, store right next door, plenty of parking,
Breakfast was good-nothing fancy. The location was awesome. It sat right on the beautiful Salmon River with great walking path and running area for our dogs.
