Not exaggerating: This truly was the best accommodation of our whole holiday, in every perspective. Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. Jenny and Gavin, thanks so much for everything, hope to see you again soon!

We felt super welcome the second we stepped into the beautiful garden. The place has a really peaceful and relaxed vibe with beautiful interiors and a cosy bar. We also really liked the swimming pool on a hot day after our safari drive in St Julia. We also felt super save, location is in a really quiet neighbourhood.
