The Hotel Rural Via Avis is located in Santa Catalina de Somoza, 7 km from Astorga, in a stately house from the 18th century, respecting its original construction, on the French Camino de Santiago and... We absolutely loved this spot. Beautiful, classy, and cozy. This was an absolute treat to stay here. Please listen to my review and others and plan to stay here.

Tino and his family run the most beautiful and friendly place! They made us feel so welcome and gave great recommendations for the area. The food is incredible and great value at their restaurant and all you can hear from the rooms are an occasional cow bell, simply wonderful! I am already missing it and cannot recommend it enough!
