Around 10 miles east of Edinburgh city centre, the 14th-century castle on Faside Estate provides luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation. Fantastic Scottish Castle with the perfect atmosphere and modern facilities. The owner was great! And the food we had for breakfast and snacks was wonderful!!!

The 5-star Arden House offers bed and breakfast accommodation with luxurious bedrooms, award-winning breakfasts and free WiFi. Arden House also offers a self-catering studio within the grounds. 10/10, we only spent one night but everything was perfect, from the hospitality of the owners, to the pleasant room and wonderfull breakfast (the best I had so far in any bookings). Would recommend without hesitation.

This 15th-century castle dates back to Mary, Queen of Scots, and is set in 40 acres of stunning parkland. Edinburgh city centre is 8 miles from Carberry Tower Mansion House and Estate. This castle is spectacular. You’re not just getting a bedroom, you’re getting access to magnificent hallways with tapestries, stained glass windows and armour. You can sit in the stunning music room, library, snug and other historic rooms. The views from the bedrooms are spectacular (ours overlooked the walled garden). The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and full of cute rabbits. The complementary breakfast was delicious and even included haggis which was exciting for us foreign visitors.

Location was amazing, really quiet and scenic and great walks for our dog. Private tennis court was a bonus. Only 15 min drive to North Berwick. Lots to see and do in the area.
