Everything was great. Looks like they've improved even more since I was last there a year or two ago. Really quite a magical place if you like snowy places.

It is a good place to visit with children. There are many options and activities. The room was functional despite being really quite small. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet.
We were not lucky with the snow but the hotel is in a good location with ski bus right in front of the door. The bar at top was a great experience - it was super nice to have pleasant staff around!

Location and character: Cosy mountain lodge high above the ski resort of Pec Pod Sneskou. Very friendly staff. Although most of the staff only spoke Czech they made great efforts to understand English and my broken German. Good, freshly prepared food for dinner and breakfast. Smallish but well appointed room all updated and modern facilities.

Only time I have been here when it was absolutely dead.
Only time I have been here when it was absolutely dead. Very quiet and found out it was out of season :) Many things closed but we enjoyed it.
The slopes were terrible and hence this will be the last time for skiing here but enjoyed pec's as usual and good for family time but better go somewhere skiing where its guaranteed to be snow and also only a little more expensive as found the cost not to be worth the quality here anymore.

Went there to hike and ski.
Went there to hike and ski. There are many different ski resorts and possibilities. However if you are looking for an Alpine experience this is not for you. But if you live nearby and are looking for a couple days of ski experience this is perfect.
Another recommendation: Hike up to Snezka at night to watch the sunrise on top. It is awesome and so refreshing. It is windy up there however. Wear layers! Lot's of layers! I wore 4 pants when I did it early October and was still cold. It was around 0°C then. But none the less. 10/10. Would do again!

Nice place, but warm winters made skiing trip in February rather risky, skiing in rain is not what you really want, and prices in Pec became quite high in recent years, so Austria seems to be a better choice

Very nice little town with nice hiking trails, good restaurants and kind people. My favourite place was Jeremy’s bar with the kindest bartender who played the music that I really liked. He made that day special to me. The bar is located near the ski slopes on the left before you get to the city centre. The only negative is that you need to pay for the parking everywhere (with exception of Jeremy’s bar 😀).

Pec is narrow small valley with a lot of character, a bit busy with all ski buses, snow scooters and cars at the base of the highest Czech mountain. You can hop on the lift and visit the top of Snezka when weather allows, recommended. We experienced some very tasty dinners in many places in the village. Look for the menu and prices because they may vary a big deal. Classic Czech cuisine will not disappoint. Czech mountains are not Alps but they offer now decent infrastructure and services. Pec is just about 2 hours drive from Ruzyne Airport so easy to access.

The location is very bad maintained.
The location is very bad maintained. It is very dangerous and almost impossible to commute through the city by foot as all the pavement is covered with ice and the road is very slippery.
There are several options of rentals and many terrains to choose from, the map is a little confusing but if you research in advance, should not be a problem to orient there.

A great location right on one of the main ski slopes, yet this place felt relatively secluded and quiet, possibly because we came after the main skiing season and the hotel itself was half-empty. In winter, you can only get to the Obzor by walking about 1 km uphill, paying for an overpriced snowmobile ride, or on skis via two different lifts, which we did and which was fun. It was a great value for money, the breakfast was really good and we got a bigger room than what we paid for. The restaurant is relatively expensive, but decent.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Everything was very clean and cozy, the apartment was thought out to small detail. The wellness center was lovely (3 saunas, jacuzzi), located directly in the hotel, almost empty during November. I also enjoyed a nice classic massage by Iryna. The parking in the garage was comfortable. The hotel restaurant is very good, maybe a little bit too expensive. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful!
Very friendly but not very talkative staff :)
The restaurant has its own peculiarities; you can’t have a diner at any time. You need to check with the hotel about the restaurant's opening hours. We were there in the summer, so everything around the hotel was closed, but that was to be expected. The nature is amazing. The room was clean, although with old renovation. Breakfast was perfect, it's worth the money.
Thank you Sonia for the great stay and hospitality. This is a brand new and super comfortable building with different flats located just by the main street of Pec Pod Snezkou and stunning panoramic views. The appartment is better than shown in the photos, with a fully equipped kitchen and its utensils. Loved the mountain and all surroundings, full of entertainment for little children.
The place is wonderful, peaceful, in nature but not too far from the center of Velká Úpa. The lodge has a homy feel and the owners are lovely and happy to help with whatever you may need. The food was very tasty and breakfast exceptional. Would certainly recommend to anyone who prefers smaller boutique places with personal touch rather than big modern hotels which may be a bit cold.
We had a perfect stay at Hotel Atlas. All of the staff were wonderful - friendly, hospitable, very accommodating, cheerful, and welcoming to us and our two dogs. The room was very clean and quiet. The food and beer at the hotel restaurant was excellent. We very much enjoyed our short stay and heartily recommend staying here! Thank you again for everything!
Attention to details and high quality of facilities.
Namely:
The best bed mattress I have ever experienced in a hotel room, had a great sleep on it.
Free Finnish sauna was a perfect finish for the day in the mountains.
Spotless glass in the shower.
Netflix.
Interior has a great style.
Very friendly and willing staff and facilitator.
Staff was very nice, average breakfast, nice rooms, clean. Hotel is placed in the middle of the "city", good location, free parking. Some restaurants and bar around. I had my dog with me (pitbull) and it was not problem for anybody at all - I appreciate it!
PERFECT LOCATION IF YOU STAY IN PEC POD SNEZKOU YOU DONT NEED CAR AT ALL . THE OWNERS SIMONA AND MAREK R VERY NICE PEOPLE .ANYTHING YOU NEED YOU CAN TALK THEM THEY JUST PERFECT. THE FOOD IS ALSO VERY GOOD. ARE FAMILY VERY ANJOY THE TIME IN HOTEL KRAKUS 👍😃
The hotel was very lovely with interesting decor all around its interior. Beds were super comfy. You could hear the river floating from the outside which was a very calming experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Awesome breakfast, huge number of options. Very nice location and view from the window. There is a small shop next to hotel (always check working ours because of holidays etc...)
