Dormy Inn Matsumoto is a 3-minute walk from JR Matsumoto Station and offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features a hot-spring bath, a buffet breakfast is served daily, and welcome coffee is offered in the lobby between 15:00 and 23:00. Staff were very hospitable. Their service was beyond my expectations. We stayed for 2 nights only. Hotel is 5 to 7 minute walk from Matsumoto Station. Instructions given by the concierge were very clear. We added breakfast for 2 days and our parents were very happy. On our last night, we just bought some bento meals from Family Mart and consumed the foods at the hotel. The staff allowed us to eat at the breakfast venue so that it would be easier for us to get free cups of water and coffee. The onsen experience was also outstanding. It was our parents' first time to experience natural hot spring in Japan. Last but the best thing that I want to commend is when we lost our son's pair of rubbershoes and the staff was able to find it in the hotel. They volunteered to send it to our friend's location in Tokyo free of charge. We are really grateful for their excellent service.
