The location is up the hills in Minca and is a bumpy ride to get there, but that is to be expected since you are in nature. Our room was big and spacious and we had an amazing view that was a combo of nature and the city of Santa Marta. They had amazing juices and the food was really up to standards. The tours/cleansing ceremonies that we booked through them were really nice and worth it for the money. We did the fire ceremony, ancestral healing massage and cocao tour with waterfall (lot of walking but worth it!). The staff was very friendly and the property was amazing to unwind and relax. Take note that to get to your room you do have to climb some stairs that are made of rocks but it's totally doable, just not your typical hotel, but again you are in nature and its to be expected.

Placita Vieja Hotel Boutique Spa is located at Parque de Los Novios next to the restaurants and bars in the Historic Center of Santa Marta, 5 km from El Rodadero Beach. This boutique hotel has the perfect location in the historical center of Santa Marta, surrauded by serveral restaurants, stores and places to party. This is also a great location to stay in if you are looking to take tours to the outer beaches that Santa Marta offers. Everyone at the hotel from the owner till the maintence people were super kind and atentive. Jesus and Elina at the front desk were extremely helpful from the begining of our stay upto the last day. Jesus went beyond with duties with one of my friends that was injured in one of the activites from senting someone to get the medicine that she was prescribed to asking for a delivery from the local farmacy. We felt at home and very welcome. also we loved all the bedding and pillows. overall this is a great place to stay.

Located 200 metres from the commercial centre and 150 metres from the beach, Hotel Boutique Don Pepe offers free Wi-Fi and a personalized a la carte breakfast in Santa Marta. The staff!! Every member was excellent, always greeting us with a smile, willing to help and answer our requests promptly. Loved the history of this place, and we enjoyed meeting Don Pepe’s owner. Great place to stay in Santa Marta.

The quality of food in the restaurant was very good. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially José from the front desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The decoration of the hotel, both inside and outside, was very nice. The room has a microwave, which makes it perfect for longer stays. The room also includes a spacious balcony and very comfortable seating There is a high-quality sound of music outside of the hotel. The view of the airplanes was interesting (the runway finishes behind the hotel's wall)
