I have a thing of requesting Nicolas cage at every hotel I stay at, and the staff did a fantastic job of providing me with all the cage I could ever need - and they looked like they enjoyed it too. A hotel that enjoys doing that is truly one worth going to - loved everything about it!!

Finished to a very high standard with everything needed to make it a comfortable stay. The location is exceptional; could not ask for better. The hosts were lovely, we stayed on Christmas day and they left us a treat which was awfully kind. On the morning of leaving we were treated to a storm (good old British weather) but William came to the rescue to help us get our belongings back to the car.

The location is perfect, tucked away from the tourist main areas. Rosie is a fantastic host and the breakfasts were delicious. Another plus is no phone signal so if you want to be non contactable here is perfection for peace and quiet. There is Wi-Fi if you have to have that but it’s not important to me.

Great breakfast, different items offered every day. Selection of cereals, seed, fresh fruit, yoghurt, freshly squeezed juice, toast etc. Hot items cooked fresh to order, nothing reheated. Amazing kippers! We had the sea view room, huge super-king bed, very comfy mattress. Rosie, the host, was lovely, she spotted the bottle of fizz sticking out of one of our bags and produced champagne glasses straight away :) Rosie is a mine of information on the local area and good places to visit.
