Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Amazing cottage, beautifully furnished with very well equipped kitchen. Spacious rooms, woodburner with plenty of wood supplied, and the host popped in to check everything was OK. She made all the stain glass herself - very beautiful.
The cottage was stunning and the hosts have thought of everything including little details like board games, football table, books, tea, milk and sugar, condiments and a welcome basket of Welsh food. It was the little touches. Everything had been supplied. I loved the fireplace and it was already set up for us when we arrived ready to start. We were only there 2 nights, I could have easily stayed longer.
Stunning, peaceful location. The only noises were from the Red Kites - incredible! The cottage was spotless, so comfortable, beautifully located and superbly equipped. The hosts had thought of absolutely everything.
This cottage has absolutely everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible a lot of care and attention to detail has gone in to this property. The host are on hand should you need anything. This place is perfect.
Everything needed for a short break away, clean, well equipped and so many personal touches from host who have thought of everything, a real home from home in an absolutely stunning setting.
Clean, comfortable, surprisingly spacious. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Good central heating; logs provided for wood burner. The cottage is isolated, but the host is responsive, and there is a good range of shops in Llandovery.
