The host, Mrs Celia - friendly, helpfull, great communicated. Friendly cats;) Great location - in two hours you can get the Ocean on the west, Spain border on the east, Algarve on the south - at Pedrogao peace and calm:)) We can only recomend A Casa do Barqueiro- Alentejo.

We only booked one night here, and as soon as we arrived I did regret that. The atmosphere, the views over the vineyards and the beautiful hotel with so many nice details made this one of our best nights on our Portugal trip. The staff is so friendly. The wine and food was really good. This place gives you the chance to really relax and disconnect. It is very quiet and not many guests, so it's so peaceful. Totally better than what we expected when we booked. 10/10 recommend!

But the best part is the dedicated staff which is welcoming and hosting you so friendly from the start to the end! The wine tour was given by the owner and winemaker Philippe. He shared so many details about the process of making wine and his personal philosophy of wine. You can really feel his passion. One of the best wine tours we have ever experienced!
