The host was completely fluent in English and Portuguese, and answered lots of questions about the town and surrounding area. The room was large and quiet, with a large spotless bath. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh foods.

Located in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, this 19th century building of granite stone offers traditional rooms with balconies. The breakfast was very good and the atmosphere was great. Lovely place to bring a pet, lots of animals and very well behaved.

Located at the foot of the Serra da Estrela mountain range, in the town of Manteigas, this hotel offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. Free parking is possible on site. The place is very nice, well design, convenient and very clean and comfortable. It has air conditioning in the room in case of extreme heat (which we experience), and nice common spaces (several living rooms, terrace) to read, relax, play... It is located close to the center of Manteigas and yet in a very quite neighbourhood. The owner is very nice and very dedicated to the comfort of her guests. Highly recommended.
