The stay was truly fantastic. Check-in was very easy and the room was clean and super comfortable. They seemed to think of a lot of small details such as having enough plugs and towel holders in the room. Additionally, the kitchen and common room were clean, comfortable and very nice! All around a great experience and potentially the best hostel I ever stayed at! Staff was very responsive when I forgot something in the room.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Great location - a lovely beach is 5 minutes up the road in the car. You could walk to it, but the only route we could see took you along the main road. Lots of off road parking. Room sizes were good, beds were comfortable, the property was clean, warm and had everything we needed. Lovely clean bedding and towels. Great garden for the dog which he enjoyed! We had an issue with the electrics on our second night but Emma and Sean got it sorted really quickly and were super helpful in resolving the problem.

Lovely and clean, modern and the staff were really helpful. The room was a budget room. Although it was small it was a perfect size. It was decorated nice and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Shower room was clean and the wardrobe was a fantastic size. I could get bags, clothes and shopping in there so there was nothing on the floor to get in the way. The room had a Seaview and was spectacular.

Booked for a night after a meeting. It was the cheapest place available, and although advertised as a hostel the individual rooms are of a higher standard than expected. Comfortable bed, sitting area, fridge available and good shower. No complaints!

Quite possibly the best hostel we have stayed in and we are both volunteers for YHA and in the past SYHA!

My first experience of a youth hostel, which was 100% positive. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was functional and no frills which was totally acceptable.
