The staff was welcoming and friendly, giving me recommendations of where to go, how to get around in Hvar. The bed was comfortable, there was air conditioning in the rooms (much needed during summer), there was a good kitchen, the bathroom was clean. If I ever go back to Hvar I'll definitely stay at Luka's again. They are quite strict with quiet times which was very much appreciated. Also, just adding here that not all rooms have views but that was not an issue for myself at all. The common area does have a nice view of the sea and sunset.

The hostel is in a great location in the city center with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and sights in few seconds walking distance. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet. The common room and the kitchen is nice as well. You can cook your own food. I will definitely comeback here. Highly recommended! Cheers!

A spacious garden area is also available, while the terrace provides a big lounge area perfect for relaxing in the sun. It was an extremely good value—more like a hotel than a hostel. The host was extremely helpful and responsive—he picked me up when my ferry arrived late at night in another town, and also charged me fairly for repairs when I got into an accident with one of his rental scooters.
