We loved this homestay: as we stayed 3 nights, we were upgraded and we got the chance to stay in the best room (spacious, calm and comfortable). The breakfast and the dinner were plentiful and very tasty (our host Mary is a great cook). The location is just perfect if you want to visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park with Hallelujah Avatar Mountains (300m from the entrance).. Besides, our host speaks english and knows perfectly the Park.. not only she helped us to prepare our visit (tickets, maps and route), but she also helped us when we were lost..
Overall, we felt at home.. Mary, her little puppy and our driver made our stay unforgettable..

The shop owner's English is particularly good, which is not easy in China. She will explain the map to us very carefully. Breakfast is very rich, and I will recommend it to my friends. The only downside is that the restaurants recommended by the shop owner are all in Chinese style, with affordable prices but very spicy and not delicious

Very nice landscape - impressive mountains - Tian Shan and the park. Verry Chinese organization for millions of tourists. Limited space for individual "advanture". I intendet to cycle to the Tian Shan mountain, but this was not permitted and secured by a guard. Nevertheless a interesting place.

I just went ot Zhangjiajie Greate Canyon and buy Type A
Walk on the glass brigde + VR + Zipline
Before I going out the building to Glassbridge I book ticket for Bungee Jump 260m. It's the highest bungee point in the world now (20/1/2024) amazing expirence of mind. I can see around the canyon, VR is woderful , Zipline is Safe and bueatiful sight seeing, then I slide my body down to lower floor, it was fun like I'm back to be teenage. there is many activities. but if you can walk out after 17:00 you should book taxi to pick up you back to downtown.
Tianmen Mountain was bueatiful , but last time was heavy snow so I can't see the view from top of the mountain. in my 3rd time to travel this place. March - April is the best time to visit.

You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie.
You should plan to stay a minimum of 5 days in Zhangjiajie. Day 1 should be spent going to Tianmen Mountain - stay in the Hamptons by Hilton Hotel right across the street from the cable car ticket. Day 2 go to the east side of the park and stay at least 2 nights. One day can be spent visiting the Glass Bridge, Grand Canyon, and if time the cave. Day 3 go to the northeastern side of Zhangjiajie Park. Take the bus to the 2nd stop and then hike up (don't take the little train unless you want to) and then continue about 4 km up stairs to the top of the mountain. Come down by cable car and then bus back to the east gate entrance. Day 4 can be spent bussing and hiking 7.5 km along the river inside the park to the western side. Stay the night just outside the park on the western gate. Day 5 can be spent visiting the north western portion of the park by bus, cable car and hiking down to the river (avoid the elevator if possible) and then hike along the river back out of the park. Day 6 visit the southern portion of the park by taking the trail to the yellow village in the mountain. Hike up or cable car, and then hike down or cable car down.

A must see place in China!
A must see place in China! So much to do everyday in the park or you can just relax and enjoy the fresh air. Dos: The cable car to the top peak is well worth it, half the peak is empty if you want some great views and photos as most of the crowd is at the five fingers. Don'ts: Glass elevator, not worth in my opinion as it's a short ride up and not many look out spots at the top.
Awesome boutique hotel. Stay here for the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the park entrance and any easy walk to many restaurants near hotel. The staffs were proactively helpful and went above and beyond. Helping arrange trips, even telling us right shuttle bus to the Baofeng Lake and Yellow dragon cave in Wulingyuan (very easy to get bus from bus stop near hotel, no need to take expensive taxi ). The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Just book here if you visit Zhangjiajie.
This hotel was amazing! The room was super spacious and clean, with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom, a big window with a cool view. The lady there was kind and super helpful. She gave us a free map and explained how to get around the sights and made our trip much easier.
Plus the location was perfect – close to everything and walking distance to restaurants and shops. It made my family happy and was definitely worth the price.
I'll for sure come here again next time I'm in Zhangjiajie.
The setting was spectacular and the facilities were super. Really good food, all locally sourced or home grown. The staff were so friendly and our daughter loved playing in the pool. We didn't need them but there were washing and drying facilities-ideal for families and kit used for walking through the National Park which is on the doorstep (South entrance). The rooms gave a taste of the traditional Chinese lifestyle but with spotless, modern bathroom facilities in an eco-friendly way.
I was delighted with this hotel. The location is right next to the West gates of the Zhangjiajie park, and all the main attractions are not too far. The staff was friendly and professional. Thank you, Lucas, for giving me the best advice for travel plans for each day!
Good breakfast at a reasonable price, for dinner - mainly Chinese dishes or local food, which I enjoyed a lot! I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and if I come back, I would definitely stay here again.
There is a beautiful swimming pool and garden landscape, as well as the spectacular Tianmen Mountain and Tianmen cave. The housekeeper's warm-hearted service can help us solve everything, and write us the strategy of how to get to Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Free shuttle to the airport and Tianmen Mountain. The room is comfortable with good air conditioning. Outside the window is Tianmen cave in Tianmen Mountain.
Very easy communication with the owner, Rebecca who understands English very well. We also had a free ride to Wulingyuan which was also nice. This Hotel is located inside the residential area which might be a bit difficult to find. Hotel has up to 5th floor but without the elevator. Has a service of fruits to the room. Very recommended if you are going to Wulingyuan or Glass bridge with either a single or in a group.
The owner of the lodge was very helpful. He arranged almost everything we wanted to do on our trip. He organized transportation and purchased our tickets in advance which made our sightseeing trips run smoothly and easy. It is very close to Zhangjiajie national forest park which was perfect. The room was comfortable and well air-conditioned. Loved the facilities, especially the view from the infinity swimming pool.
The location is great for the National Forest Park. The room was spacious and clean. The owner will help us with plain to you the map of routes for the park. She alway very friendly and put her smile on her face during our stay there. The hotel offer the services for pick us up and drop ur off for the National Forest Park Entrance. It is very convenient for us to explore the park. Highly recommended.
I love this small boutique hotel.Especially when it comes to location. Situated in the lively Wulingyuan town, close to east gate of park entrance .there's no shortage of things to see ,eat and do within walking distance from the hotel. The staff offers tickets book to the National Park, Glass Bridge for our convenient.
The guy on reception is very helpful, he has supported us in organising of our traveling in Zhangjiajie. The hotel has a good location, about 15 minutes walking to West Gates if National Park. Hotel is rather clear and you can find something to eat on breakfast for European travellers.
The host was super helpful with explaining how to navigate the national park. He sat us down and talked through the map and a drew a route! A must for tourist to stay here as his advice was brilliant. Hotel was clean, well equipped and very close to the entrance of the national park.

This small hotel is located less than 10 minutes from Tianmen Mountain. Which is an excellent choice if your main aim of visiting Zhangjiajie for sightseeing. It’s bang in the centre of a community. Lots of Chinese culture all around you.
The location was perfect for exploring the nearby National Park. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us with organizing our trips and booking tickets. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.
