Hotel Playa Scondida is a rustic-style lodge on Baru Island, 1 hour from Cartagena by motorboat. It offers thatched bungalows that overlook the Caribbean over the private dock where guests can relax and use the sun beds. All of Hotel Playa Scondida's bungalows have their own private balconies and simple furnishings made from local materials. The hotel's restaurant serves typical Baru Island cuisine made with fresh local ingredients. Guests can dine in the hotel's gardens or have their food brought to their rooms. Hotel Playa Scondida offers a wide range of activities including snorkelling, canoeing, swimming and windsurfing. The beach is in front of the hotel.
