We thought Sarria would have a lot to offer since it is a major hub for Pilgrims. The historical section is so charming and has a handful of fun restaurants and hostels. Wish it had more boutique—like hotels b/c, otherwise, Sarria seems to lack charming housing options. There is a great store at the bottom of the hill as you are about to ascend up the infamous stairs to the historical section and out of town on with your walk. They have anything one would need for the Camino and there is a great pharmacy across the street as well.MaryUnited States - 10Scored 10

Marisa owns and runs the place like clockwork with many other women relatives, they are kind, friendly and their cooking is home-made yummy! They also serve breakfast staring at 7:30 am, which is a good start to arrive at Portomarin beating the Sarria rush!
