Los Caideros is a small, quiet village in the sunny southwest of Gran Canaria. It is inhabited by locals, but also by emigrants and people who spend the winter here. Only 50 m from the house, right next to the beautiful shared pool there is the small Austrian supermarket "El Greco". Here you can buy every morning freshly baked rolls, a small meat & sausage counter. The private village Los Caideros is very nice and quiet with little traffic. Due to the southwestern location it is rarely windy here, which is especially pleasant in winter. On clear days you can see as far as Tennerife and you can see the highest mountain in Spain "Teide". The famous Anfi Beach is easy to walk to and can be reached within 10 minutes, depending on your running style. You can take the lift down to the beach. There is a Spar supermarket, restaurants, fashion shops, bars and the Maroa Beach Club with a coctail bar and beach restaurant. This is where the caribbean feeling comes up.
