Convenient to the motorway. Dated, uninspired decor of the room and lack of chairs, TVs in dire need of replacement and poor food. Much cheaper hotels have a better offer.

Sat Nav post code is not correct as it takes you to unnamed road in the middle if nowhere. Hotel Reception not gave you all information to make an informed choice. We were not told if we pre-book breakfast it would work out cheaper. Paid £13.95 per person, rather than £15 per couple.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The leisure centre was a bonus. The hotel had easy access to Sheffield The road noise was disturbing and one of the skylights didn't fit properly which added to the noise level. Decoration round the skylight was tatty and there was a hole in the enamel of the bath.

Functional I was very unhappy with the high cost for the use of wifi and felt this was profiteering. I purchased an hour at £4.95 (compared to a nil cost at many other venues). I treated this as 60 minutes and carefully only used half in the evening so that I could recheck emails in the morning only to find that I was not able to relog in. I understand the hotel wants to limit the use of its band width, but believe it should consider the approach used by organisations which feel they must charge. They sell pre defined blocks of wifi time which allows relogin until the minutes are use.For £4.95 I would have been able to go online for about 6 hours in many places.

The location is good with plenty of on site parking. The whole hotel needs a good deep clean and updating. The breakfast was pitiful and the hot breakfast was the worse seen in any hotel.

The food was nice in the restaurant. The room was very hot and there was no aircon or similar. If I opened the roof windows the noise from the road was so loud I couldn't hear myself think and had to shut them to sleep.

Good, capable hotel. Food was excellent. Felt understaffed and a little outdated. Had to wait for service on a number of occasions. No wi-fi in rooms and TV multichannel service broken.

It was convenient for my work in the area, staff were good The booking facility did not appear to offer an inclusive breakfast option, and this was then charged at £13.95 for a continental breakfast which by any many measure is a lot of money for a coffee, orange juice and bowl of prepacked muesli. In addition a service charge was pre added to the restaurant bill which is not acceptable practise.
