The Baytree is a well-maintained Victorian property located in a quiet, tree-lined road only 5 minutes’ walk from the seafront, shops, restaurants and English Riviera Conference Centre. The Baytree is 'Highly Commended' in the English Riviera Quality Awards for Best Bed & Breakfast. It has been awarded 4 Star with Silver Accolade by the VisitEngland Quality Assessment Scheme from 2008 to 2014, and the coverted Breakfast Award also from 2012 to 2014. The Baytree has a Food Hygiene rating of 5 out of 5. The family-run Baytree has refurbished rooms with new furniture, carpets, beds, decoration and en suite bathrooms. If you are arriving in Torquay by train or coach, The Baytree offers a free pick-up and drop-off service (Torquay train and coach stations only). Early and later check-in/check-out by arrangement.

We purchased The Baytree in October 2002. Having a background in Estates Surveying & Engineering has helped to complete the renovations and offer guests the expected services. We genuinely enjoy what we do and look forward to welcoming you.

Property information

A Victorian property with 6 en-suite double or twin bedrooms. Retaining many period features but with modern conveniences. Award winning, not only for the rooms and features but also for the Breakfast and services we are able to offer. We purchased The Baytree in October 2002. Having a background in Estates Surveying & Engineering has helped to complete the renovations and offer guests the expected services. We genuinely enjoy what we do and look forward to welcoming you.
