This accommodation was wonderful. We had friends staying in town for a wedding, and this apartment is right in the heart of Bushmills, walking distance from most of what we were planning to do. Everything else was a very short and scenic drive. It was incredibly spacious, especially compared to our friends whose hotel rooms were much smaller, with a full kitchen, bathroom, living room and even laundry and a back patio area. While there is no AC, the unit gets very cool at night, so we were very comfortable during the very warm weather in September. Would absolutely recommend it.

The Blue House Apartments offer a fully equipped, one-bedroom apartment located a 10-minute drive from Portrush West Strand Beach and a 5-minute drive from the University of Ulster. The apartment is spacious and features an en suite bathroom with bath and shower, plus a lounge with a TV, and CD/DVD player. It also includes a garden with a seating area. The kitchen includes a microwave, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a dining area. There are shops and supermarkets a 2-minute walk away. Royal Portrush Golf Club, where the Irish Open is held, is a 15-minute drive from The Blue House. The Old Bushmills distillery is a 5-minute walk away and Dunluce castle ruins are 3.5 miles from the apartments.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 10 for a two-person trip.
