Manolates is considered by many to be the most beautiful village in Samos, with artists shops and wonderful tavernas, great views of mountains and sea. Google photos! Nightingale valley is a wonder of nature, with streams and small waterfalls for most of the year. The footpaths connecting to neighboring villages are a favorite with walkers. Several wonderful beaches start at a distance of 3 km downhill from the house. The house is spacious, at a very quiet location, surrounded by vineyards.
The house is surrounded by vineyards. It is within the limits of Manolates Village, a 5 to 10 minute walk uphill. It is possible to park at the free public parking lot of Manolates, walk through the village and then walk down to the house. Or, drive on a narrow rural road before you reach the village and then park right at the property. This is the recommended way if you have heavy luggage. See the photographs that will guide you. There is no public transportation to Manolates, only to Agios Konstantinos, the village at the beach. Taxis are available from there.
