In the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel probably has the best location in town. Opposite the famous King David Hotel, it is a 10-minute walk from the Old City.

Pleasantness of staff
You Better have super outside
We crashed here over night as we had arrived too late to be checking into the private apartment we rented for our stay. The room was small and basically furnished, but clean. Excellent breakfast was included and the location is excellent in a pleasing residential area that is 20 minute walk to old city, 10 minutes to trendy Emek Refaim. Staff friendly and spoke English well. We would definitely stay again.
The location and the great breakfast
Wifi was spotty
The hotel is very well situated and the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Despite it's not being very modern, the hotel is clean and well maintained.
The economy room I booked was in the basement and though clean and sufficiently spacious did not have appropriate internet access. (However, the hotel staff upgraded me to a better upstairs room.)
Location is fantastic both in terms of ability to walk into town and proximity to buses. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was great!
A good location for what we wanted. A pleasant breakfast. Helpful staff Easy access to public transport.
Stairs outside are difficult to get up and down if you have difficulty walking or you have a pram. You need a ramp.
Stayed here in 2007. Generally good. Breakfast now in restaurant , not buffet, staff in restaurant great. Like location as easy walk to German colony and old city.
The staff really bit helpful. Eg asked which bus to take downtown, suggested looking at Egged schedule which I could do myself. Per sabbath needed time sensitive cab, and asked for one . Didn't tell us they couldn't get one resulting in a 1 hour walk and being late. Lack the finesse I guess. Rooms need updating as do bathrooms.
The location for our visit with family was excellent. We were able to walk to most of our destinations. The staff was excellent at addressing our requests. The breakfast selections which were included in our room package were very good and greatly appreciated. we were very impressed with our stay and the value.
Nice staff and accommodations accommodations Great breakfast.
the room was lovely and the staff helpful. A good breakfast was included in the adjoining restaurant.
there was no public space like a lobby and the parking was scarce and difficult to navigate
Great breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff in a terrific location for excellent value.
Staff is very helpful. Location is good. Breakfast very good, especially the shakshooka (sunny side up eggs cooked on top of a stewed tomato and onion dish).
Rooms on lower level are neat, but only basic. Room needs repainting.
Location was good and parking was available. The staff did everything was asked and more. A restaurant was attached to the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent. The room size was adequate and the beds were comfortable.
Many steps and no elevator. Very small lobby with no tables to sit and eat or recreate.
assistance reception staff
a bit crowded on corridors
lovely people, nice breakfast, clean, helpful, good value for your money.
Sounds in downstairs single rooms carry throughout so when a person either knocks on a door or opens a door in the hall it is as if they are at your door and at night they wake you up. This does not apply to the main or upstairs rooms.
The food in Polly's, the happy atmosphere, the relaxing gardens, and the loads of storage. The hotel is on very useful bus routes, and gets taxis very quickly.
The lack of view from our basement window, but we were glad that there were windows!
Wonderful staff. Pleasant room. Free parking.
Weak wi-fi. Odd location. Seemed a bit noisy. Television confusing to work.
Avi and the staff were always very friendly and helpful
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice room. Guests should bear in mind this is only really an upgraded Bed & breakfast . But my room was fine , cleaned every day with new towels and clean bedding . If you take that into account you will have a fine stay . I saw some bad reviews about breakfast - ignore them . breakfast was fine .
I had downstairs room next to front reception and got woken up every morning at 5.45 by staff who seemed ignorant of the fact people were trying to sleep . This was a pity as its my only negative . Ear plugs solved the problem , but really hotel should consider whether they really need to have staff start cleaning so very early as its clearly a problem for guests in some rooms downstairs.
the hotel is mainly used by israeli people, which makes an original athmosphere far from the overbooked tourist hotels
Our room was situated on the ground floor with three Windows overlooking the restaurant terrace, the intense traffic on the nearby road, plus the two Streets on each side, and the lights of the building caused us sleepless nights.(we do prefer a dark room...!)
I've been booking stays at Little House hotels since 2007 and have stayed at all three locations several times. My husband and I like the smaller scale, bed & breakfast feel and good food. Best of all, the staff always makes us feel welcome and valued.
very clean room fair breakfast sweat garden
we stayed at the economy room, it is on the basement, noisy when people walked outside on the deck to the garden
The atmosphere, breakfast and location
The room that was first offered wasn't the one reserved and paid
great breakfast, friendly staff, prompt cleaning of room.
it's good for a few days. the comfort level is not good for a week.
Friendly informative staff (especially Avi). Great restaurant adjoining the hotel. Delicious breakfast. Nice rooms and well equipped bathroom.
The tv menu was difficult to navigate. Other than that everything was great.
