Our room (Orange 6) had a leaky, wobbly, and smelly toilet. They fixed the leak but the smell persisted because of the lack of p-trap in the plumbing. The toilet just drained straight down and the pipe was perforated allowing sewage smell to permeate the room. Not very pleasant.
Also, note that this hotel has a range of rooms, with the nicest rooms overlooking a simple garden/seating area and the least nice having no exterior windows.
Finally, the breakfast was okay but not great compared to other Israeli hotels we've stayed in. We were there during Passover, so there was limited food selection. But there was almost always some eggshell pieces in the omelettes, the eggs in the shakshuka were consistently undercooked, and the selection of cheeses was quite limited.
We loved the location and the friendliness of the staff. Esther at the front desk was especially awesome! She helped us figure out how to get where we needed to go, provided great recommendations (sights, restaurants), and always had a friendly smile and greeting for our comings and goings.
