The dedication to hospitality, the love for nature as contemplation and enjoyment of beauty, but especially the meaning that Christian mythology has assigned to this Saint, led us to name this place Saint George and the Dragon Suite. The Holy Knight (Saint George), in fact, has the task of defying evil in the guise of the dragon in order to do the "Good," intended as welcome, human warmth, good taste, giving life to the harmony that is the art of living. Located in the heart of Bologna, a 5-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, the apartment, finely furnished and equipped with all comforts, is on the second floor reachable by foot and elevator, in an elegant building that has just been renovated (July 2021). A large bedroom and living room with sofa bed (single beds), a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom comfortably accommodate couples, families and friends. Given the area with little or no traffic, the apartment, with double facing Via San Giorgio and interior terrace, is completely quiet and peaceful. Its soul lies in the medieval old town, which is among the largest in Europe and full of taverns, stores and theaters, characterized by nearly 40 km of arcades. Saint George and the Dragon Suite is just a short walk from Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings blends perfectly with modernity. Don't miss Giambologna's Neptune Fountain and the Medieval Towers, that of the Asinelli and the Garisenda, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in the many museums, galleries and religious buildings. It is impossible to leave Bologna without tasting its food and wine products, including mortadella, tortellini, and Bolognese sauce accompanied by the well-known DOC wines of the Colli Bolognesi! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna is a city that can surprise all year round.
