Chisinau is a great place to visit. The restaurants are great and very inexpensive just like the wine. Great parks and lot's of greenery everywhere. A very walk able city and if you need taxis they are cheap and plentiful. I lived in Chisinau for 8 years and loved it, in fact I married a woman from there. The medical care at Med Park is 1st rate and inexpensive, which is why we traveled from Turkey back there. $800 for a complete medical checkup including: Heart, Digestive, Neck and Genital area ultra sounds; 5 or 6 pages of blood work tests; Stress Test; chest x ray & mammogram appointments with cardiologist, neurologist, ob Dr or urologist, neurologist and a family Dr. Great medical & Dental care at affordable discount prices. A great Medical Tourism town along with the wine and not to be missed winery tours. I enjoyed my Medical Tourism, wine and restaurant 4 day tour.

Unfortunately people around there are really mean and argumentative. They almost were hitting us, just because we( me and my colleagues), were obstructing their way, which is totally false. Because of that and the judging and hostile looks we barely enjoyed our stay in Chișinău. It is not developed as we expected, they say that we are poor, but I frankly can admit that their country and people must change their mind and mentality. We’re not against them at all. But I believe it can be better. Good sights: I liked their mall( MallDova), that the grocery stores were a lot more supplied than ours, also the attractive shopping prices, we have seen the amazing arch of triumph, statues, buildings and some views, but I can’t say that I recommend the country. We arrived at Chișinău with HiSky’s aircraft from Bucharest( rlly nice flight), we ate at Andy’s, La Plăcinte mostly and some restaurants from the middle of the city.

In comparison to last year the number of cars has tripled!
In comparison to last year the number of cars has tripled! Big traffic jams everywhere! Bit strange: even if official language is romanian and everywhere anything is written in romanian, majority of people are speaking russian.. if you enter a restaurant, fuel station etc., they speak to you in russian first..

Nice clean town with big parks and lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Food is very affordable and tasty. Easy to walk everywhere. Also seemed very safe. Not many attractions though for a traveller. Museums are a bit outdated but ok for 0.5 euro entrance fee. Old Orhei on the other hand is a scam, there is nothing of interest there, i dont' know why you have to pay 50 lei per car just to enter the village! SKIP it.
Overall 2 days in Chisinau is more than enough.

Nice city; friendly helpful people; city center is a litte bit overcrowded, but not so much; good, cheap and frequend public bus connections to nearly every part of the city; tons of things for sightseeing (cultural, parks, museums, bars).

City with a great vibe and fantastic atmosphere.
City with a great vibe and fantastic atmosphere. We walked a lot through the city and found a lot of interesting places. There is a long pedestrian street (in the city centre) with many bars, cafes and different attractions. In the evening there was an open-air party with djs, good music and welcoming people. And most importantly the prices are really friendly, especially compared to Western Europe. Definitely worth visiting!
Cozy, elegant, clean rooms, and well decorated, the breakfast was fresh and has variety of food. The hotel & restaurant staff are friendly and polite.
Well located, in a safe part of the city, next to a shopping center and cross the road you can walk to the city attractions
I used the hotel transfer from/to the airport. The driver was waiting for me at the airport and it was a very comfortable and hassle fee ride.
The hotel deserve 5 stars.
Tt was a very pleasant hotel in the middle of a park. The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and kind and gave us a lot of information about Chisinau and Moldova. The service was excellent and we will like to thank the stuff very much!
Our room was spacious with a huge and comfortable bed. Bathroom was perfect. The place was clean and nice. We had parking space. Breakfast was also included in the price. Everything was perfect!
Check-in seamless and fast, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms very nicely arranged, clean and spatious. At the top floor they have a lovely restaurant with a good view of the surrounding area. Great location close the the center park, very good restaurants and bars close by. Parking places right in front of the Hotel. Next time I'll be in Chisinau, for sure I'll be staying here again.
The hotel is in the city center and just a short walk from pretty much most places you'd go to as a tourist in Chisinau. The room and bathroom were clean, mini bar was nicely stacked up and the bed was comfortable. There's a really nice restaurant on the ground floor that serves both some national and international dishes. Some staff speaks English, most know Russian. Overall a good stay.
Staying at the Gregory Hotel in Chisinau was a great experience!

Very good hotel in the city of Chisinau. Easy to go to airport with city transport. Big shoping mall just near the hotel.

The best to stay in Chisinau, especially if you're on a smaller budget. My very special thanks goes to Ina, the administrator. She goes out her way to make the guests as comfortable as possible. The facilities, the cleanliness and the vibe in the guesthouse are very good as well.
Amazing place in the center of Chișinău. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed lately. A very unique design that offers everything that you need. Cozy large room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with local food. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
