Many hotels in the vicinity of Plattsburgh, New York {where we viewed the eclipse} had been booked many months in advance, and many had greatly increased their prices for dates near this event. The Comfort Inn had a decent breakfast that was included.

Melissa at the front desk was really nice and she also had great recommendations about restaurants for dinner. The breakfast is great as well, lots of variety from savory to sweet. We didn't have time to try the indoor pool or the hot tub but next time we come in the area I won't forget my swim suit. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious and the bed comfortable. I'd stay there in a heartbeat.
