This is a sweet vintage Route 66 style motor court. It is an older property with a nice remodel job. I love the old metal key for entry. The lighting was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, and had a nice firm mattress. The inspirational doormats and plaques were a great Plus. Personally, I prefer a place like this over any five-star hotel.

This is especially so since the following day's drive got a late start due to snow and ice on I-80.

The owner was genuinely welcoming and offered any assistance needed. The setting was a peaceful- so much better than staying in a hotel out by Cabela's and all the chain hotels and restaurants. The room was cozy, but very clean and comfortable. We sat outside after dinner and enjoyed the evening, while petting the cats Buster Brown and Butterscotch, which was a good way to end a long day of travel.KathrynYoung couple
