The staff were excellent: very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the hotel were spotlessly clean. They fulfilled our request to have two rooms together. They were kind to our dog and offered her treats! Very pet friendly!

We fell in love with Staunton - see a play, take a scenic train trip, visit a brewery, enjoy great meals, shop for antiques, sightsee the Victorian homes and buildings. The Blackburn Inn had beautiful grounds with very interesting history - the building was about 200 years old. Our bathroom was redone nicely and the bed was comfortable. We chose to eat dinner in, and breakfast was provided with the room. Both were excellent. The beautiful Victorian home was filled with treasures, eclectic and a little eccentric. We attend a weekend event just outside Staunton, VA, and this hotel has become our "go to". It's not spectacular, e.g., no pool or hot tub, but it is clean, has a courteous staff, a good breakfast. Very functional and comfortable.
