Located in Tropic, Utah, this inn overlooks Bryce Canyon National Park and Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument.

A seating area, a microwave and a refrigerator are featured in all suites at Stone Canyon Inn Tropic. An en suite bathroom is also included.

Room Size.. cleanliness and comfortable bed. Location was awesome. Peaceful. Staff very helpful. Restaurant in main building with great evening meal. No breakfast but I knew this. The "inn" main building is actually a restaurant/grille with a reception attached. No bar. Accommodation is 12 bungalows/ cabins and a small single storey block of King rooms spread around the acreages I stayed in a king room. ..Its remote.. gps may not work but they send you instructions. Its in a wilderness area on the extreme edge of Tropic, a small town with limited facilities. You can buy groceries for breakfast or alcohol etc. If you love tranquility and wilderness and proximity to Bryce and Kodachrome and national parks and hiking its perfect. 15 min by car to main entrance of either. To avoid crowds.. 2miles up dirt rd by car (ask reception ) and gentle hiking trail into Bryce 2 miles to the main trails and nearly 3 to main visitor centre. Different to your run of the mill chain type visitor hotel. Personally i loved it and would stay again.

Simple, straightforward. Breakfast was simple but filled us up for the day! Yoghurt, oatmeal, cereal and bagels! The highlight of Tropic was Showdowns Restaurant down the road, go for dinner, and grab the $12 smores dessert for the campfire which the put on every night

Our stay at Happy Trails Inn was great. Our room was clean, had all the amenities that we needed and was comfortable and as we expected it to be. We didn't have any interaction with the hosts as we had no problems during our stay but know from the booklet they provided that they would have been available if we need any assistance. We would absolutely stay again if we came back to Bryce Canyon.

Location was quiet and had beautiful scenery all around, so it felt remote, yet was conveniently close to amenities in Tropic and a short drive to Bryce Canyon. The on-site restaurant, the Stone Canyon Grill was quite good for dinner.

Not too far from Bryce Canyon NP and in a cute little town that had dinner and breakfast options. Comfy bed, nice view of the mountains out the porch doors, and very quiet environment.

It feels like coming home from the beginning. The rooms, kitchen and living room are so cozy and perfectly decorated and you find all you need for amazing stay. The fresh cooked breakfast is also really great

Great base location for exploring Bryce Canyon National Park and state parks on Route 12. Easy, short drive to Bryce NP. Exceptionally clean cottage. Would happily stay again. Loved the 7up pancakes for breakfast! Family-owned, local business. Places to eat dinner within walking distance.

The Bullberry Inn was close to Bryce Canyon, so it made it easy for us to get there for hiking.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean. Check in was easy, collect keys at the Red Ledges Inn, just on opposite side of the road. This is where breakfast is served too.

The Inn's close vicinity to Bryce Canyon. Better value than nearby town which was closer to the Canyon. There was a small but dark sitting area as well as the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was huge and comfortable. Adequate storage for those staying longer than the one night we were there. The breakfast was OK but we were fortunate to get a table outside as all those in the reception area were already taken.

Fun little restaurant attached complete with live music where we had a nice (late) dinner. The room was fine in its old fashioned motel style way, we thought it was charming! Don't understand why the washbasin would be in the bedroom and not in the bathroom but this seems quite common in America. Free tea and coffee in the reception run by the lovely Tiffany.
