The room I paid for was two queen size beds, but it was actually a one-bedroom apartment with a separate bedroom, as well as a sofa and pull down Murphy bed in the living room. It had a full kitchen with the cutest mini dishwasher. The Murphy bed was queen size, as was the bed in the bedroom. The lamps on the bedside tables in the bedroom were tap on top off with three brightness levels. The hotel is directly across from the rocky beach. There were no resort fees attached to the bill, as there would have been in Parkville. There was a breakfast room downstairs with complimentary food served from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00. Sausages and eggs, dry oatmeal packages or cereal, toast or pop up waffles, fruit and yogurt and coffee.
Located on the West Coast waterfront, the Comfort Inn & Suites is in Campbell River, only 2 minutes away from the BC Ferries terminal. An indoor pool and hot tub are available. Free WiFi is included.

I was super happy to have stayed at Fireflies and will stay thee again if I have the opportunity. The hot breakfast was wonderful. We realized that we had not packed tuques for early mornings of the kayak trip. Long weekend, and stores were not open. The owner supplies us with 2 tuques. That was so helpful.

I love Campbell River mainly because our daughter and our granddaughter live there but also because it is a beautiful location and close to Quadra Island where we have spent many holidays at the First Nations campsite at Rebecca Spit.

Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River.
Had a fantastic stay at Campbell River. Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the sea. Beautiful timber ceiling. Loved watching whales, otters, geese and seagulls whilst we ate breakfast, sipped on drinks at the bar or over dinner. Beautiful property. So peaceful. Drove to Gold River. Amazing road with beautiful scenery. This is real wilderness. We just loved this area

Nice place for a staycation.
Nice place for a staycation. Went for a performance at the local theatre. Stayed one night. Easy to get lost, very spread out. But scenic, hills and lots of trees. Nice waterfront shopping area. Tried Potstickers, very tasty.

Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood.
Love the Ocean, walking along the beach picking driftwood. Really liked the warfs with all the boats. Ate at Doc side Fish & Chips but wasn't very good. Bought a Hamburger & Onion Rings at Ripside Pub for $28 & it was burnt & Onion Rings.overcooked & Hard. Tried Pita Pit & it was awesome. I would not stay at my previous place & avoid some bad restaurant food. Yes it's easy to get around town.
Beautiful lodge with a history they try to keep going with pictures and trophy fish. Bed was comfortable, the furnishings don’t quite fit the character of the lodge but all were comfortable. Views were amazing and the continental breakfast was very well done with lots to choose from. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was a long weekend we won’t forget.
We got a lovely welcome text from the property while we were on our way up Island; the cabin was super clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable, all the necessities in the kitchen and nice little touches too by the owners. Right across the road from the beach and convenient location to everything in Campbell River. I would definitely stay again!
We loved this stay! Quiet, all the comforts of home and all the balconies have waterfront views of the Campbell River, with views into the bird sanctuary on the opposite shore! The host was super communicative about our arrival and when we checked in had many excellent suggestions to help us enjoy the area. We would happily stay again!
The room was spacious and comfortable. All facilities in the hotel looked to be in excellent, "near new" condition. The breakfast area was attractive and the selection of food was very good. The front desk staff were very welcoming.
The manager was really helpful and took time to recommend areas to see and eat since this was our first time in campbell river.
It was easy to find and was in a good location right off the highway.
Has a secure gate which was nice
The hotel is very nice, it is clean, organized, the attention is very good and the people of the hotel are very friendly. We had a nice weekend. Breakfast included, really the place is very nice and has a beautiful view.
The CAD $160 I paid for an overnight stay in September, 2022, was attractively less than surrounding motels and hotels. The person at front office was friendly and provided a plate for the microwave. It was clean.
Bathroom: shower was good
COVID precautions: good
Parking: good

Staff: frontdesk person, Paige, was kind, helpful, friendly; cleaning lady, friendly, welcoming
Lena welcomed us with a big smile and was willing to guide us about Campbell River and the parks surroundings it. The view from the room was breathtaking and the kitchen was well equipped.
It is right on the beautiful Campbell River. You can watch salmon jump and seals play. The desk clerk was personable but I had to squeeze information out of him. He was hurried but nice.
Location was fabulous as we were booked to do Homalco Grizzly Bear trip and boat left right opposite our hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Beds were excellent.
