Besides the CN Tower, there are no major landmarks in Toronto however, there are many restaurants and bars to try diverse food at especially in the distillery district which is also perfect for nightlife! The CN Tower is great for panoramic views of Toronto also. There is also the iconic sign Toronto which you can take lovely pictures with. Would recommend seeing at nighttime as the sign is lit up!
Toronto has very nice places to visit. I live in a small village and like outdoors, but Toronto gives you the opportunity to see the city lifestyle. I would highly recommend to go to the Visitor information center that it is located at the Union Station; they were great and help us plan everything we wanted. Please don't miss walking Toronto's underground, I was amazed by its size and shops variety.
This is a very busy city and you need to be careful when crossing the streets. The amount of people that smoke on the streets did bother me somewhat. The CN tower is a must but make sure its a clear day or your views will be obstructed. The shopping centre is huge you could get lost in it, however there is a bar in one of which is nice if you want to sit down and relax.
Amazing vibe. Clean and polished city with nice people. Down-town is amazing. Very relaxing and lots of great little places to sit for coffee and food. Very cultural too and diverse. One of my favourite cities.
The CN Tower and area was very interesting. Had to go shopping at a few speciality shops all around Toronto traffic was chaotic but relatively easy to get around town with a gps. We did eventually get what we wanted.
Plenty to do and see, including the CN Tower, Toronto Islands, Black Creek Pioneer Camp, Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum. Choice of pretty much any world cuisine you can think of - our favourite was the Korean restaurant Little Piggys. Good public transport too.

He had all the little things at then kitchen closet which would I would need to cook for myself for meals, from coconut oil to even rosemary. Coffee and tea from filter to instant. Neat and clean

Check in was lightning quick, the staff come to know you quickly and always offer a nice greeting. The location is the best in Toronto. You are feet from the subway and right smack downtown. The room was impeccable and housekeeping incredible. The food at the bistro is top notch and super welcoming. The bar rocks. Every single employee was amazing. The value for money can't be beat. I will never stay in a different hotel in Toronto. Marriot for life, yo!

I love the location its very accessible to everything. Its very near to CN tower and Eaton center(a must see in downtown Toronto). Lots of restaurants and small shops around. P. S the hotel is partly a jazz bar so if you don't mind hearing jazz music during most of the evening so this place is for you. The jazz music sounds doesn't bother us even if we stayed in the 1st floor, we're just grateful for the location and helpful staffs.

The Hotel is perfect for gentlemen who travel to Toronto , excellent location with walking distance to almost anything in downtown Toronto and at reasonable cost. Filmores Hotel is clean and safe and my room in 2nd floor was almost quiet, only in the weekend you can hear some voices from night club down floor. There is Gentlemen club down , be careful if you rather to travel here with family. The staff are kind and helpful.

Drags Market just in fount of the door. Not just guess, I talked to them for a while, they leave the stuffs in a lunch box. Pretty cool, I asked them is that the worst corner of Toronto? They said no , the worst of Canada. (I paid for the Laundry in the basement, it makes everything hot but not dry. That's why I need to go out for that and have a chance to talk to the neighbor.

After spending 3 weeks on the road seeing Canada, our last hotel was away from the centre and gave us a few days to relax before fly home. Hotel was clean, friendly and a short walk to a few bars and places to eat. Doing Canada again I'd use this hotel chain again as we found travelling from Toronto to Nova Scotia and back that these hotels provided value for money.
