We liked everything! The location is unbeatable and the apartment is amazing with everything you need. The staff is so helpful and nice, a special thanks to Sonia who got us checked in and placed in the apartment way before check in time. Great location in the heart of Toronto. Fantastic interior of rooms and very functional amenities. Restaurant was brilliant for breakfast and dinner. D-bar is also a great place for a dinner or drink. In front of the hotel there is a nice small garden, which was pretty decorated for Christmas. The personal is professional and very kind! Thank you so much for making our stay an unforgettable experience!!!

It is a standard issue city for it's age.

It is a standard issue city for it's age. Old buildings swallowed by modern architecture, or reinvented for modern use, with the exception of some old churches. Plenty of greenery, small and large parks to escape to, if the noise of the city gets too much. It is very busy and loud, extremely heavy on traffic. Amazing public transport network, and very cheap and easy to use. Metro, trams and buses are coming all the time, not much wait for any of them, however trams and buses do get stuck in traffic jams - but for a visitor that kind of is like cheap form of sightseeing. Tap with your credit card and you can ride all forms of transport for two hours for a single charge of $3.30. Casa Loma was interesting to visit, CN Tower is greatly overpriced, Distillery district is an interesting re-invention of old buildings, Graffiti alley is interesting and very long.

This was my 14-year-old son's and my first trip to Canada...

This was my 14-year-old son's and my first trip to Canada and we were there for a week. There was so much to see and do that we have already started working on our itinerary for our next trip. We went to the Royal Ontario Museum twice and still haven't covered half of what there is to see. We're from the rural part of a developing country where there are no subways, streetcars, etc. We were able to get around the city using Uber and the subway without any difficulty. We didn't try the streetcar, bus, or other types of train but are confident we could have handled it. We ate at familiar restaurants like Subway and Denny's, but also tried new restaurants within walking distance of our hotel. We also arranged a Niagara Falls tour in which the driver picked us up at our hotel. We'd do that again, too. We will definitely return to Toronto if the opportunity presents itself.

Toronto was great and their transit service is fantastic. It was the hotel you folks booked for me that ruined the trip for my Daughter and myself. You folks should be a shamed of yourself. You will not get back to me or answer any emails. Shame!!!!!!!! The Toronto Guest Stay is the worst place I have been to in all my travels.

It is a very happening city.

It is a very happening city. Coming from Munich and experiencing the 180-degree shift in city life/nightlife is a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it due to all the other nice things this city has to offer. As a Muslim, I found it very easy to find halal food; even at non-Muslim restaurants, they serve at least halal chicken, which is very convenient. The subway network is a bit sparse compared to Munich, and given the size of the city, but everything else makes up for it. For exploring downtown, I would not recommend a personal vehicle due to traffic and parking, but for traveling outside Toronto, a personal/rental car is highly recommended.

It was really unseasonal weather.

It was really unseasonal weather. Downpoured most of the time. Odd for August. We are from the Oregon Coast, USA, and locals thought we were under dressed without umbrellas. Cultrual clash: Umbrellas are concidered tacky and silly in Oregon. We bought umbrellas and they were nice. We took a boat out to the Island for a folk music faire and then walked the farmers market. The delis and cheeses were amazing. We admired the beauty of the flower baskets and the city in general. We would have enjoyed more time walking the parks and streets. We had a good time.

what I liked most about Toronto was the excellent location...

what I liked most about Toronto was the excellent location and the easy access to my apartment, public transportation, restaurants, shopping and other amenities. the city is vibrant, convenient, and has plenty to offer visitors. The only downside is that the city can be quite busy and crowded at times but that is part of the Toronto experience for me.

A lovely surprise greeted us as we returned to the Radisson Blu at Toronto Downtown for the final leg of our anniversary trip. Our room was a quaint and quiet corner room with a fireplace, refreshments, clean and cosy and with spacious bathroom. Reasonably well located for all main sights in downtown Toronto. We walked to all the main downtown sights (eg Distillery, Lawrence Street Market, Tower, Kensington Market, Botanical Gardens, Old Town, waterfront) and never more than 20/25 minutes walk from hotel. Very close to subway station and only 4 stops from Union Station.
