The gentleman at the front desk was a super guy! There was a payment issue between the hotel and booking, he set us up regardless and after we were done he got the issue resolved. He even called me in our room to let me know it was fixed.
Parking was easy and plentiful.
We couldn't find our room, a lady from the cleaning staff took a few seconds out of her busy day to help us find it.
We asked about catching a cab downtown, when we were introduced to the UP train. Another gentleman took us to the meeting room on the roof to show us around, tell us about the train, and show the city a little. We found out way around no problem thanks to him.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had a nice view. The bed was super comfortable!
I'll go back there for sure, with that service. Give that entire team a huge bonus on their next pay day.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many restaurants, parks, etc. Our accommodation featured a double bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. While the room was pretty comfortable, the sofa bed was definitely quite old and would not cater for an adult. It also had a washing machine/dryer which were very helpful, and the room was cleaned almost daily.

Toronto is a busy place with many sights. There were also a lot of homeless people who had taken up residence in the parks make us feel unsafe. When combined with a trip to Niagara Falls you could easily spend 4 to 5 days in the area

Toronto has so many wonderful areas and activities for any age. The most beautiful parks and green space, beaches and restaurants. I could live here and enjoy learning to travel all different ways; subway, Uber, tram train, walking. So much to experience and enjoy and it only continues to grow more beautifully all the time.

The location suited us and the price appeared good, however you get what you pay for is true. the bed was too soft, the room was very noisy from road noise we believe because of a poorly fitted window, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the safe did not work. we were there for only one night so we put up with it and left in the morning and will never come back.

Toronto is always fun! We went to the 360 restaurant and it was incredible albeit pricey. So bear that in mind if you go.
Lakeshore is fun but busy.
Lots of green spaces, great places to eat too! My personal favorite is Bar Vendetta.

I stayed for 2 weeks at a beautiful hotel, Montecassino, and I enjoyed the big city with all my heart. Food was good at the market, and the hungarian community was very hospitable, especially the Hungarian Reformed Church, and the writers I visited, with Laszlo Soproni. Food at the MANDARIN was excellent. We got lost twice it is true, but found our way back again to the Hotel. We enjoyed the High park birds singing.

I loved the views, tall buildings and all the lights at night. There is so much to do everyday out there.
My least favorite was eating the poutine fries from Smoke's. To be fair I don't know if I ordered it correctly but after a few nibbles in what was way too many fries and not enough meat... I threw it away..
On the other hand, LANDWER which is walking distance from the hotel is a jewel!!! Very delicious food.. and another favorite of mine was Simone's but you have to take the train or taxi to get there.. if you like carribean food this is definitely the place to go. 20 out of 20...the oxtails, steamed veggies, coleslaw and king fish..omg!!! So good I went 2 times during my 6 day stay!
Second time staying here. The room is small, but what else to expect in such a central location downtown. Enough room to fit two Queen beds, a dresser, a desk, and a small bathroom. Amazing to have the pool -- want to return in the summer for the rooftop patio! Staff were very friendly again, breakfast buffet excellent and cheaper if you book it upon check-in. Will stay here again because it is by far the best value in a downtown hotel I have found.
The location is great, close to downtown Toronto - walking distance to the main areas. The size and facilities are also good, there is really one room and one side room (open) with another sofa bed that is convenient. The view is nice. Overall, it's a good alternative to the pricier hotels in the neighborhood. The parking spot is also very convenient.
The hotel is situates perfect downtown Toronto. When we weren’t walking we used the subway and found there was a direct access from the subway to the hotel. The room was very nice, but a little tiny for 3 adults and a child as we were. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Works best when staying no more than 2 nights. If more, it might become unpleasant to stay there. However, though the hotel is in downtown Toronto, it was very quite during friday/saturday nights. Just downstairs there's the jazz bar with daily music, which is nice.
Hotels in Toronto are expensive and the Alexandra used to be pretty reasonable. Now it is quite over priced for bare bones accommodation. It is in a good location for downtown.
