The hotel has a very nice standard all around. The beds, pillows and duvets were exceptionally good. The complementary concierge service was super nice and handy, and surprisingly flexible even though we ended up ordering it last minute almost every time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The wifi was terrible in our room at first but we just called reception and the sent a technician that fixed it right away. The rooftop pool area was really nice too, although the area itself is rather small they kept it non-crowded and relaxing the two hour time slots guests had to reserve in advance. The gym was really nice, it was actually a real, full equipped gym and tennis courts, not like a lot of other hotels that claim the have a gym only to find out it's some dark corner of the property where they placed some machines. One of the days the rooftop bar was closed due to a supposed storm that never came, so the restaurant on the 2nd floor provided extra pool bar service since the weather turned out nice, which they actually did better than the normal staff working the rooftop bar, even though they had to bring it from the 2nd to the 28th floor. The female head waiter from the 2nd floor restaurant deserves a raise in general. She just connected well with everyone. So bravo! All in all a really enjoyable stay.

We stayed here during the last holiday season and found it to be the cheapest option, yet surprisingly impressive. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including boiled eggs, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bread, and fruits. Free hot drinks were available 24/7 in the lobby. The place was clean, modern, and overall a great stay.

REVIEW OF COTTAGE 2 AND OF PROPERTY IN GENERAL: Literally the only pro and positive comment I could make about this property is its location and close proximity to beach area! As hard as I try and reflect, it is impossible for me or my son to find any positive comment or something good to say about it.

It was as beautiful as I had hoped it would be. I highly recommend the boat trip and journey behind the falls. As a solo traveler, my favorite spot, was just being there in front of the Falls and listening to them. As for getting around, that is a bit more conducive to someone who is much more technologically inclined..LOL!

The city is worth exploring and there is a lot of great history and culture that visitors can learn about. Ottawa is a popular destination for tourists as well as government affairs; thus, it is beneficial to increase more safety and security around the area. Also, there is a wide range of options in terms of food and dining that accommodates to international visitors.

I think that the two most beautiful cities in Canada are Kingston, Ontario and Victoria, BC. Both are smaller cities without the congestion, crime, or architectural monotony of many larger metropolitan centers. It is true that they are lacking some amenities but they "hit way above their weight class" (with world class hospitals, a long and interesting history, unique shops, high quality restaurants, a vibrant retail sector, a large arena, and a beautiful waterfront that envelops a large part of the city) due to the high inflowing revenues (in Kingston's case this is due to the huge number of students attending Queen's St Lawrence, and RMC, the large number of institutions nearby from hospitals to prisons)

We were there for a baseball tournament but are aware of many facilities that are great to entertain children of all ages for we have visited them in the past. The children’s museum, storybook gardens, and the play centre ( I forget the name ) where the kids can jump on tramps or little ones climb jungle gyms and go down slides or play in a arcade or an escape room for adults . Fun for every age all at one place and food too for every age .

The hotel was very clean and comfortable located downtown which is ideal when your a visitor, there are many eateries around, La luna is one of the great Mediterranean restaurants everything is fresh, love their salads, and another restaurant that is really close to the hotel is Sapporo restaurant that caters to sea food lovers, they have soft shell crabs which are very fresh and you can see them making it which is always nice. Bayfront area is a very nice place to visit, there are eateries around and there is also a food truck on site. Bathrooms are also available on site, and that is a plus in my book, hey you never know. Cheers :)

Windsor wasn't exactly a cultural experience, although it did seem to have a diverse population, which was nice to see. We didn't find any hip shopping districts or cool "strips." The view of the river and the Detroit skyline was very cool, and many people were utilizing the riverwalk in the evening after dark. There were plenty of identifiable security personnel who made even the less-lit areas of the park feel relatively safe.
