We were driving a GMC truck so advised to park across the road from the hotel. We received two tickets from parking there, spoke with traffic warden who was then happy to address this with reception. It was all sorted, but recommend you confirm with reception that they are aware you have parked in this particular car park.
Room was pretty worn, but clean. Beds comfortable, great shower.
We only stayed two nights. Breakfast was good.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable located downtown...
The hotel was very clean and comfortable located downtown which is ideal when your a visitor, there are many eateries around, La luna is one of the great Mediterranean restaurants everything is fresh, love their salads, and another restaurant that is really close to the hotel is Sapporo restaurant that caters to sea food lovers, they have soft shell crabs which are very fresh and you can see them making it which is always nice. Bayfront area is a very nice place to visit, there are eateries around and there is also a food truck on site. Bathrooms are also available on site, and that is a plus in my book, hey you never know.

We went on a waterfall tour. Even though they were nice, some were hard to reach unless you're into hiking quite a distance.
The city was pretty easy to get around and there are lots of places to choose from for dining or fast food.

I love visiting the waterfalls in the area, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Dundurn Castle is beautiful and an interesting tour. The HMCS Haida was interesting and the Pier 4 park was a nice visit. Princess Point conservation area is lovely, with a nice view. Hutches restaurant has great fish and chips.

The concert at the TD Coliseum was excellent - the staff there were friendly. Hamilton isn't the prettiest of places as an ex-industrial city. However, there is an art museum and some pretty gardens nearby. I didn't really have time to explore the rest of the city as there seems to be other places to explore including a castle. There is an indoor market though, I think, one of the main malls seems to have shut down. Outside of the city, I'm told there are some excellent waterfalls.

Hampton Inns & Suites is a nice place. Very clean overall. John on the front desk is amazing. The rooms are large and overall breakfast is very good. They should use real plates and cutlery for the breakfast room, since all disposable and food goes in the same garbage and is not recycled.

I had a medical emergency. My wife rushed me to Hamilton General Hospital. We tried to cancel the 2nd night at the hotel without success. Even though they explained they could refund me because check out time has elapsed, they never showed any act of kindness or empathy that their client had medical emergency and was admitted at the hospital. Where has humanity gone to? On top of that, they charged me 2 nights of parking while I stayed and slept at hospital all through. It took me 3 hours of phone calls to that reversed. Horrible!

I had just stayed at a luxury hotel. The rooms where comparable for size, comfort and cleanliness. Staff at both facilities were the same for service and friendliness. Toiletries suppled where adequate. Stayed for 2 nights. Housekeeping changed the entire bedding including mattress cover while we were out. Came back mid change. Complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing, far more valuable then the over prices mini bar at other hotel.

This hotel is located within walking distance of the TD Coliseum. The room is well appointed and includes a roomy shower, mid-sized kitchen with a full fridge, dishwasher, pots, dishes, etc. We loved the incredibly comfortable bed.

Loved that Moxies and Denny’s were both located in the hotel. Staff were exceptionally friendly, we were offered an upgrade to a suite which was like an apartment with a balcony. Amazing hotel.
