This hotel is genuinely excellent. Whoever manages it, knows exactly what high class hospitality means. Some may argue that a some things are not perfect (see my list below) but all the rest tops it up 100%. Here are some highlights: - hotel staff - lobby room - room facilities - bed linen are extraordinary - lighting - healthy breakfast - cosy SPA - wine dispenser

FAQs about hotels in Quebec

From Polar Bears to Jazz Festivals

The predominantly French-speaking part of Canada, Quebec is a fascinating region of strong contrasts. With stunning natural wildlife and European-style cities, Quebec features over 8000 lakes, 750,000 square kilometres of forests and 4 different climatic zones.

Its largest city, Montreal, is said to be the only place in the world where the sun rises in the south, due to the unconventional compass used by the locals. Its old town, Old Montreal, with its cobblestoned streets and historic buildings, is a real jewel and a definite must-see.

Head to the region’s capital, Quebec City, to admire the majestic Chateau Frontenac. Stroll along the fortification walls around romantic Old Quebec or try one of the over 300 cheeses produced in the region.

After an intense city break, there is nothing more relaxing than the vast spaces of nature, untouched by the human hand and allowing one to spot a polar bear, a moose or even a blue whale.

So whether you’re a nature lover keen on summer and winter sports, or a culture vulture hungry for music festivals and independent cinema, you will find all that and more in Quebec. Booking.com offers over 1200 properties so you can choose between hotels, motels and cosy inns.

We were just passing through off the ferry and expected a Travelodge, having not used a Riotel before, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the welcome, at a very good price. We were able to enjoy the sunset by a firepit on the beach with a good beer, and use the pool. In the morning we had a very good home cooked breakfast. The room itself was comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

The staff is very friendly. The facilities were all clean. My child had a really great time at the play room they have. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. It also worth mentioning the restaurant. They served really delicious high-end dishes. The whole stay was just amazing. Great views of the lake. We will definitely come back here next time!

The location of the hotel was wonderful. We love the nature and fresh air. Our lake view room was upgraded to a suite, so our joy was doubled. Everything in the room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Drinking morning coffee in our bed with the lake view was a unique experience. Also sitting under the stars at night.

Historic grand buildings, charming cobblestone bustling streets, surrounded by friendly & courteous folks. My family of 4 took the train into the city and used uber to get around, as parking is pricey and can be difficult to find. We went in January, stayed in Old Port and there was lots of fluffy, crispy snow. The restaurants in this area are plentiful and had the best food everywhere you go! We had fun visiting some indoor sites in January as it was a cold minus 20 degrees! We went to see Notre Dame; the Biodome (highlights were penguins, beavers and my son was very excited to see the capyberras). We had some family competition at Quiz Room with our own buzzers; and visited Art Chaos and made some cool spin art canvases to bring home. We also visited the Cat Cafe as we missed our own furry friend. We loved our trip and will be back!

The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to visit restaurants and old Quebec. All in walking distance. The walk is beautiful but hilly so if walking is difficult or have very small children a car may be necessary but finding parking may be difficult. Overall all a good experience but may be more enjoyable if winter is not your favourite. But if it is then location is absolutely beautiful and can enjoy many hours outdoor.

The room was clean and spacious, but the amenities were significantly dated. The appliances and beds were visibly old. Furthermore, the lighting was inadequate, and there was a frustrating lack of accessible power outlets (specifically, none between or behind the queen beds). Crucially, there was no in-room safe. The digital clock was non-functional, and an ironing board was not provided. The breakfast was highly unacceptable. The selection was very limited, and the food was consistently cold, poorly flavored, and in some cases, excessively spicy. We were left with extremely few palatable choices. On a positive note, the staff were nice and polite. However, the provided internet speed was insufficient to support professional needs, such as streaming a live lecture. Considering the nightly rate, the overall experience at the Brossard hotel was significantly below its price point, primarily due to the dated infrastructure and substandard breakfast, compounded by the lack of essential amenities like a safe.

The Cape Shrine is a beautiful and tranqualizing pilgreamge place. The Le Temps D'une Pinte is a good place to finish the day with good food, good local beers, and good service. Unfortunately and fortunately, we expereinced the first snow of the year and so could not go on foot to enjoy the history of the buildings in the downtown area, but then the snow added the beauty to the city.
