From
RomaniaGreat, fantastic hotel, comfortable and cozy, extremely well maintained, nice and polite staff, rooms were clean and spacious, well insulated (very few to none noise around), great beds, perfect Wifi, plenty of parking spots and, saving the best for last, a memorable, hard to forget, breakfast, combining fine French cuisine refinment with rough and consistent American style.
Fantastic value for money, needless to say more..

t is a pleasant city with many beautiful parks and green spaces to enjoy. Especially at this time of year, the parks are vibrant and well maintained, making them perfect for walking, cycling, or simply relaxing outdoors. The city offers a nice balance of urban convenience and nature, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Interesting place with lots of historic areas to see. Very much liked the river walk and cyvle paths.
My brother lives there, which is the primary reason for the visit. May not have chosen the location in other circumstances.

The plastic and cardboard cutlery and plates at the breakfast are a disappointing experience.
The breakfast is fine, all day coffee and tea available.

Although on a busy road, plenty of places nearby for lunch/dinner.

Room was not ready when I arrived at 2:15 as check in time...
Room was not ready when I arrived at 2:15 as check in time was suppose to be at 3pm
I wanted to use the bathroom as I just had 7 hours drive but no bathroom was offered instead desk staff instructions was to go around the corner to the restaurant.
Upon my return at 3:30 pm again desk staff said room is not available and was suggesting to cancel. I was upset but did say and then you charge me as it is not within the hour of free cancellation.
I step aside to wait and then 1 family (3) arrived and was given a room. These family was of the same skin colour with the desk staff and spoke French.
I was then upset and said there was no room and then all of a sudden there is one. Is there racism here?
The desk staff was offering an extension of 1 hour at check out which I do not need but I said do I have a choice? No answer.

We travelled to Laval from Ireland for a very short visit for a friend's wedding in a nearby vineyard. We had a day to ourselves and went into the Old Port in the afternoon. We used bus and metro to get there. Not speaking French was a disadvantage but staff at the Metro helped us choose the right tickets for our travel.

Although the facilities are exceptionally clean and staff fantastic .. the service was 5 star. We had some issues both with the amenities we were promised in our room and from a large group of children and teenagers that were staying at the hotel
