The location is quiet and conveniently located, only 10 minutes walk from all the major Quebec City attractions. The room is quaint but incredibly clean and cozy. The breakfast and all other meals combine healthy, nutritious, locally sourced ingredients that are prepared fresh everyday. The staff are wonderful, providing support both in English and French.

Very detailed instruction from the hosts - including great recommendations for restaurants, parking and places to visit. The rooms were spacious enough for our family of 4 and the view from the kitchen was directly to the the main and the nearby church. There is a washing machine and a dryer as well so very comfortable for a family. All amenities were there including tabs for the dishwasher.

Best croissants I've ever had, friendliest front desk staff (Fara) who recommended a wonderful spot for supper and took the time to make our stay extra wonderful (brought a hair dryer to the room, recommendations, chats, warm welcome, etc). Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom with heated floor, stunning old manoir in a great location. Umbrellas available in the lobby were so appreciated, as it was raining during our stay - classy move! Held onto our luggage after checkout so we could enjoy the city before getting our car. Would stay here again.

Beautiful charming city. We stayed in the old city.

Beautiful charming city. We stayed in the old city. I would recommend doing a walking tour which can be arranged through the tourist information office across from the Fairmont hotel. We loved our guide, Michele P. We ate at Bello, excellent Italian food, Cafe‘ du Monde in the port area which was very good, and at Ciel which is a rooftop bistro-bar top of the hotel Le Concorde. The experience of rotating around the city‘s 360 degree view was cool. Do try to venture all three levels of the old city. About a 20 minute drive from the city are the Montmorency falls and park which I highly recommend.

Gosh what is not to love about Quebec City!

Gosh what is not to love about Quebec City! I was here for a conference so I did not get to spend enough time in the city and I will come back. Let me tell you - even the *coffee* was good at the conference center. How many times have you had bad coffee at a conference?? Never in Quebec City! Everything was amazing. Snacks? Amazing. Dinner? Incredible. People? Adorable and kind. I always start with French of course out of respect, but everyone is accommodating and I had a great time. I can live my best French Canadian life here and I miss it already.

If you have one city to visit in Québec, forget Montréal and go to Québec City. As a Canadian, I have traveled across my country and Québec City is really the most unique. It has a long history, very unique architecture, lots of art and culture and, of course, the mighty St. Lawrence river. Yes, in summer there are a lot of tourists in the old town but other areas, such as St. Roch, have great hotels and within walking distance. I have visited Québec City several times and I have always found something new, unique. It is a French-speaking city but everyone in the tourist trade speaks English. Besides, the language is also its charm

We stayed in lower town and wish we had stayed in the upper town area. Many interesting shops and historical sites, and all seemed very "french"; we loved it. The city has some excellent restaurants and a long history; saw some buildings dating back to the 1600's. Only had one day there and should have stayed one more.

That's so much to do in this lovely city.

That's so much to do in this lovely city. We've returned enough that we no longer do just the typical sights, but try to see new things whenever we go. We are driving distance away. There's much to do outside town as well if you have a car: waterfalls, first nations experiences, sugar shacks, winter sports, great shopping, good dining, museums, the St. Anne Beaupre (sp) Basilica, train rides, Ile D'Orleans, day trip to Montreal by train... The old town shops and architecture are beautiful. The Hotel Frontenac is definitely worth a visit even if you don't stay there. The bar is lovely for a drink. The central core is made for walking. Streets can be steep and icy in winter. There is a funicular, but you will still need to go up and down some areas. Don't miss this Canadian gem. QC is a highlight in the country.

Location with Plenty of parking spaces (indoors and coutdoors-covered parking) was very good with just 10-12 min drive from Old city; many F&B were close. The room was clean, moderately spacious and calm. We stayed there for 2 nights (Aug 4-6) and it was good value for money. Since we were visiting the old town and other areas, we did not get the chance to check the hotel amenities and facilities. We had a noisy AC; when we informed front desk in the morning, quickly they sent a technician to fix the issue.

Great location! The old style and charm of the building fits in well with the ambiance of Quebecs old town and the nearby Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. We had a beautiful, clean room in the attic of the building. Brilliant facilities and aircon (needed for the summers high temperatures and humidity). Room overlooked the park and chateau, a quiet safe area, yet within minutes of Quebecs main attractions, day trip pick ups and restaurants. Staff are friendly, Would use again.
