The relaxing atmosphere was great. All the restaurants we went to had great food. I would suggest to wear comfortable shoes as you will walk a lot to see the sites. Our favorite restaurant was LA Boucher and our favorite excursion were LA citidelle and Montmoncy falls
What a lovely City. My second time, and allowing 3 days was still not enough..... Montmorency Falls was an excellent visit, with the hotel making it clear you can get there easily by public transport, or through the guided tour which I took. Ensure the tour leaves enough time to view the falls from below and above - 45 minutes from the top is just enough. The Old Town is an excellent food and visual pleasure. My suggestion is to take a food tour on the first day to get an insight into the area and food options - La Buche for example has a great range on local food at a reasonable price. Allow for the Quebec weather for an extra day or so, as it is in a higher colder climate. The French fell, food and beautiful walled city is a must see destination in North America.
We arrived by train (VIA Rail Canada) from Montreal and the hotel is just a short cab ride from the station. Driving in the Old City can be a challenge, as is Parking, so I recommend not trying it... if you have a car, park it in a garage and leave it there! You can walk anywhere in the Old City and there are lots of restaurants close to the hotel. We ate twice at the restaurant Aux Ancienns Canadiens on St.Louis and they had a great menu from which to choose. The home-made dessert cakes were wonderful!
It had been over 30 years since I last visited. Won't be that long before I go back! It was very nice to see that the historical building and walks have been maintained. Unfortunately, didn't have time to explore as much as would have liked.
Quebec is great if you are looking for a place to chill, unwind and have a slower pace of life. However, shops tend to close early at around 6pm. 3 days is sufficient to visit most of the highlights in Quebec. Food is slightly more expensive, and be prepared to give tips between 15%-20% per meal to the waiters. Quebec City is very walkable, so I wouldn't suggest getting a bus ticket unless you want to go into the bigger malls outside of the UNESCO site.
The hotel Le Priori was so well located in the old part of Quebec City. Very narrow streets, lovely shops and great food. It was a bit hilly but so interesting. You felt in another world and found that the shops had a lot of local artists as well as quite a few galleries. Food selection was good in the old and new area. Would certainly go back again.

I liked the owners of the hotel. The room was perfect, clean, and the bed was super clean and comfortable. The Breakfast was yummy, the best breakfast I had so far in all my travels. The host guided me to the best easy way to reach the attraction sites in Quebec city. Walking distance from the bus station to the hotel and from the hotel to old Town of Quebec and restaurants. Thanks for the great hosts ever. Will certainly come back to the same hotel next time.

Proximity to all the attractions in Old Quebec of our interests. Comfortable, spacious room with ample storage; quiet, effective air conditioning. Nighttime silence despite location on the main street into the central location for street performers in front of the famous Hotel Frontenac and promenade overlooking the Saint Lawrence River. Helpful staff willing to haul our heavy suitcases up the steep and narrow stairs to our room.

Liked the use of a shared kitchen area (which had kettle, coffee maker, microwave and fridge). The location was ideally close to all the sightseeing locations in Old Quebec. The facility itself was great, clean and quaint. And, although, the facility does not have parking, the hotel does have a relationship with another hotel (located around the corner) that provides parking for a fee of $15 Canadian a day.
