Breakfast is simple but satisfied with fair enough choices ad service. Location is perfect! just walking distance to old quebec city and thats convenience for you to have a rest ay anytime if you get tired of walking tour. Hotel kindly prepared bed and disposable slipper for kid cuz we mentioned when we book the hotel. Valet parking is $35/day or you can park for 20/day (but you have to pay every time when you out)just next to the hotel, we prefer valet parking for its more convenience. Hotel is totally an art hotel and you definitely will have your picture day in hotel!

Great location. The building is modern and aesthetic. Being a monastery, there's a beautiful curated exhibition about it's history. The breakfast was amazing as well. The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms, although shared, were large and spotless. As a solo female traveller, it was very safe and comfortable

The room was very luxurious, and the espresso machine and water were freely available on the other floors. The body soap and hair shampoo used L'Oxitane and had a nice scent, and all the staff were kind. I would like to stay again when I come to Quebec City

Very detailed instruction from the hosts - including great recommendations for restaurants, parking and places to visit. The rooms were spacious enough for our family of 4 and the view from the kitchen was directly to the the main and the nearby church. There is a washing machine and a dryer as well so very comfortable for a family. All amenities were there including tabs for the dishwasher.

Gosh what is not to love about Quebec City!

Gosh what is not to love about Quebec City! I was here for a conference so I did not get to spend enough time in the city and I will come back. Let me tell you - even the *coffee* was good at the conference center. How many times have you had bad coffee at a conference?? Never in Quebec City! Everything was amazing. Snacks? Amazing. Dinner? Incredible. People? Adorable and kind. I always start with French of course out of respect, but everyone is accommodating and I had a great time. I can live my best French Canadian life here and I miss it already.

If you have one city to visit in Québec, forget Montréal and go to Québec City. As a Canadian, I have traveled across my country and Québec City is really the most unique. It has a long history, very unique architecture, lots of art and culture and, of course, the mighty St. Lawrence river. Yes, in summer there are a lot of tourists in the old town but other areas, such as St. Roch, have great hotels and within walking distance. I have visited Québec City several times and I have always found something new, unique. It is a French-speaking city but everyone in the tourist trade speaks English. Besides, the language is also its charm

We stayed in lower town and wish we had stayed in the upper town area. Many interesting shops and historical sites, and all seemed very "french"; we loved it. The city has some excellent restaurants and a long history; saw some buildings dating back to the 1600's. Only had one day there and should have stayed one more.

That's so much to do in this lovely city.

That's so much to do in this lovely city. We've returned enough that we no longer do just the typical sights, but try to see new things whenever we go. We are driving distance away. There's much to do outside town as well if you have a car: waterfalls, first nations experiences, sugar shacks, winter sports, great shopping, good dining, museums, the St. Anne Beaupre (sp) Basilica, train rides, Ile D'Orleans, day trip to Montreal by train... The old town shops and architecture are beautiful. The Hotel Frontenac is definitely worth a visit even if you don't stay there. The bar is lovely for a drink. The central core is made for walking. Streets can be steep and icy in winter. There is a funicular, but you will still need to go up and down some areas. Don't miss this Canadian gem. QC is a highlight in the country.

Quebec City is a wonderful place to visit, and people were very welcoming and friendly. For those with mobility issues, though, beware! Some of the streets are very steep, and it can be quite slippery in the winter.

This hotel has a good location in Old Quebec City and a pleasant little courtyard where one can sit outside. The bathroom, though small is adequate and the towels are excellent. The hotel is certainly atypical, the rooms are small and the bed must be hoisted to the ceiling to make space during the day. There is only one uncomfortable folding chair in the room so it is not very usable during the day. Breakfast food is provided and cooking facilities. The communal space provided an excellent meeting spot for our rather large family.

The room was large and comfortable with floor to ceiling windows and a view to the river. Very comfy bed.
