MalaysiaThe monastery is set in a walled compound just a little downhill from the old city centre so it was was quiet and peaceful despite the bustle of the main streets. The shared bathroom situation is not a big inconvenience because there are several shower rooms on my floor. They were very clean and I didn't have to queue at all. Other than the accommodation aspect, the monastery also has a museum and it was worthwhile exploring its history and gardens too. It's perfect for solo travellers. I slept well and felt very rested even after just a night. Would love to be able to visit again.

The quality of the room was exceptional, the room size was perfect for what my wife and I needed, the soap and shampoo Loccitane in the bathrooms showed it used quality products. Breakfast was plenty and very good. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Bed was huge. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and sights in a short walking distance.

The history, Chateau Frontenac, the cuisine and the people are why this city is a UNESCO Site.
The city is a very walkable city and easy to navigate.
I will certainly return to Quebec City and explore more of the area.

Quebec City was such a beautiful place to visit! I loved walking through Old Quebec, with its charming European-style architecture, historic streets, beautiful buildings, and amazing views. There is so much history and character around every corner and it was wonderful to simply walk around and take everything in.
The city has a perfect mix of history, culture, architecture, and scenery. We enjoyed exploring the streets, taking photos, discovering little shops and cafés, and experiencing the atmosphere of the old city.
One of my favorite things was how walkable everything was, especially around Old Quebec. Every area seemed to have something beautiful or interesting to see.

The old city is fun but busy; nice European feel and many places to enjoy outdoor seating to people watch. We rented e-bikes and went to Montmorency Falls and then around the central park area and ports. Go to Ile d'Orleans and rent a scooter for a trip around the island. Great places to eat along Rue Saint-John, skip the old town for dinner (just have drinks there)

I love the views, walkability, food and European vibe!
I love the views, walkability, food and European vibe! I wish the funicular took Venmo or credit cards. We traveled to the Ile d'Orleans and rented e-bikes. It was so easy to leave & come back to the heart of the city.

I really enjoyed my stay in Quebec City.
I really enjoyed my stay in Quebec City. It is a beautiful city that feels a lot like Europe, with its charming streets, historic buildings, and amazing locations.
For visitors, I highly recommend taking the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. It’s a great way to discover the city and see all the main attractions.
The first place I recommend visiting is the Information Center at Place d’Armes. You can find all the information you need about places to visit, activities, and things to do during your stay.
Overall, Quebec City is a wonderful destination, and I highly recommend visiting it!

So many great things to see.
So many great things to see. We took the island tour, loved the farm that makes the vinegar.
We also went to local distillery, Apikol. All the lovely things made with honey from their own bees.
And what can I say about Old Quebec, so charming, great shopping, feels like Paris without the Jet-lag.
We will definitely be back!!

We had a suite and it was perfect for our family of 4 - so spacious with living room and kitchenette. The hotel was in a great part of Quebec close to great restaurants in a quieter location on the edge of the old town, but still an easy walk to the old town.

Excellent location in the old town where all the major points of interest are just a few minutes walk away, and loads of restaurants and bars, including two connected to the hotel, are just there. Lovely room with all expected facilities an comfortable bed.

A quirky hotel in a great location. Very bright coloured decor may not be to everyone's taste but I recommend to give it a try. Great location within walking distance to the fort, Fairmont chateau and old town. Restaurants and bars in the same street.
