MalaysiaThe monastery is set in a walled compound just a little downhill from the old city centre so it was was quiet and peaceful despite the bustle of the main streets. The shared bathroom situation is not a big inconvenience because there are several shower rooms on my floor. They were very clean and I didn't have to queue at all. Other than the accommodation aspect, the monastery also has a museum and it was worthwhile exploring its history and gardens too. It's perfect for solo travellers. I slept well and felt very rested even after just a night. Would love to be able to visit again.

Location was spot on. Just a few minutes walk from some good bars and restaurants, and bus stops to get to the old town or anywhere else. They have a car park or there is an underground parking next door.

Clean, modern, well equipped apartment.
Location midway between upper and lower Quebec City on street with funky restaurants and a few street away from St Jean area which seemed to have a local vibrant vibe. Quiet neighbours.
Car parking lot opposite which we only used for a couple of hours as found free on street parking overnight ( 11 dollars)
Lots of friendly messages from hosts and nice bottle of wine as welcome gift.
Useful info pack in flat.

Absolutely welcoming personnel, very beautiful building and great location. Car parking valet available and an indoor swimming pool in the basement.

Check in was very easy - friendly, welcoming staff. The hotel parking was quite expensive $32 per day, but the front desk advised us that there was an indoor parking lot at $18 per day directly opposite which was a much better option.
The room was spacious and very comfortable for a family of 4. We didn't use the breakfast resto or pool, but both looked nice.

The valet parking staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The location was good so I could walk to tourist attractions, so I left my car in the parking lot and went.

The hotel is just in front of the Plains of Abraham and the beautiful Joan of Arc flower garden. It is also near many restaurants and bars as well as having its own very good revolving rooftop restaurant. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely view of the city and river. Valet parking was very useful, although I think there is also street parking at the back of the hotel for shorter periods of time.
