Rooms were spacious enough for 2 people, although there are no drawers for keeping clothes. There are hangers and a very small closet. Beds are comfy, bathroom was excellent, room clean, night wear provided; location excellent! We paid additional for the meal and it was worth it -- great selection!

This is my second time staying here. I feel safe as a solo female traveler and it’s location it’s great. You’re close enough to shinjuku and train stations but also out of the chaos of the more party centred places.

Breakfast buffet was an amazing treat and loved the outdoor tables in garden. The bakery was also great for breakfast / lunch. Loved the rooftop lookout at night (although the LED lights were a bit bright)

The location can't be beat for walking out the door and being in the heart of Shibuya and an easy walk to many sites, shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean and adequate, while not fancy, but the bed is very comfortable!

Renovated in July 2015, the modern E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku is located right next to Higashi-Shinjuku Subway Station (Exit A1).

Room Clean, Good service from Staff... Love them. The only concern thing for me is if you go back room late from 9pm at night, the area of the hotel full with hookers and many young and girl dressing weird looking at you. So It might not good for family I guess.

Every day the hotel provided clean yukata, towels and amenities (toothpaste, body towels, q-tips, tea, coffee, cups), every third day the room was cleaned. The bathroom is small but it has a bathtub that fits ~180cm European male. Water from the tap is drinkable. Body gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided. A few floors have washing machines near the elevator, it takes about 2 hours and costs 500 yen to wash and dry your clothes (awesome). Nearby this hotel is a lot of places to eat, including McDonald's across the road. I can recommend Gyu-Kaku - yakiniku place, Yayoiken for more classical japanese type food and Matsuya for awesome japanese curry! Also, Rikugien Gardens is a very beautiful park not crowded with tourists and is located about a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
