I expected to get a room along the long balcony at the front of the motel. Instead I got a room along the back with an amazing view of the parking lot. When I questioned that at check-in time, I was told that every room had a view of the lake. If so, why did I pay extra? This was my third stay at the motel. It is clean and quiet. But this time I felt I was scammed by the "room with a view" surcharge.
