This cozy cabin in the Columbia Valley was just what we needed for our two-night getaway. We never did meet our hosts, but they had a roaring fire going to welcome us on our arrival, and they communicated well throughout. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fairly well-stocked, and everything worked well. We thought we might take some longer hikes, but the cabin was so inviting that we enjoyed simply exploring the Columbia River basin, watching Trumpeter swans, hearing the train, and cooking for ourselves. Allowing us to travel with our dog was a bonus, as well. There aren't many amenities nearby, but that was part of the charm, and we came prepared. We would definitely recommend this cabin, and we'd love to come again.

After we came back from our activities to the accomodation, it actually felt like coming home. The hostess is an adorable woman with 2 dogs and 2 cats, who really enjoys having good conversation with you. She is taking care of everything you need. Also their herd of horses, two dogs and two cats are all very friendly and personable. And of course the little hummingbirds. Was almost magical to see horses just outside of the kitchen window, and hummingbirds over breakfast in the morning! Room and bed are comfortable and immaculately clean. There are dogs and cats that also live on the property so must be an animal lover (which we are). Owner was warm and kind, and provided a large breakfast.

Two dogs, three cats, three horses on the property - very sweet, very well behaved. Amazing vibes. The porch is the spot to relax after a long day of hiking.
